This place has unfortunately gone quite downhill. No soap in dispensers, lots of missing weights, dirty bathrooms. …

This review, is not based on the cleanliness of the locker room, nor the friendliness of the employees. It is based solely on the functionality of the gym and whether or not it is muscle-up friendly. I give this Jim a one star because it is not muscle up friendly, it lacks a straight, pull-up bar for actually doing muscle ups and straight bar dips! Functionality, one star, only one decline bench in the entire gym, the squat racks are outdated

God Forbid you want to cancel your membership. They will only cancel during work hours M-F. Shockingly they don't tell you this when you sign up. I went in to cancel on a Sunday and they told me there were no managers there but they would freeze my account and it would auto cancel. Turns out thats a lie and it will auto reinstate you for $50. Do yourself a favor and pay for a decent gym. You'll end up paying for it anyways the way this place nickel and dimes you when you try to leave

Only been here once so far because it is not my home gym. But this location was a good experience and I look forward to checking it out again.

The gym is okay There are no towels and it’s not the cleanest but it was good enough until this (see pic). There was a very limited amount of floor space in front of mirrors and now there’s none you can use weights in. This new rule is definitely sending me to another location

This place has its ups and downs but over the years has gone way down. Place always looks dirty especially at night. There are weight plates all over the floors and not put away. Part of this is also due to the fact that the majority of people that go here are stupid and have 0 gym manners. But it doesnt help that the employees do little to nothing to try and pick the place up. And speaking of going to the gym at night, the fat, butchy girl that works the front desk on friday nights has a horrible personality. Very rude and clearly hates being there. Someone really needs to have a talk to her about her work attitude.

This place is quickly turning into the worst LA fitness in the metroplex. Little to no maintenance is being done; weights all over the place, entire sections of dumbbells/barbells completely missing, staff always seems disinterested (one lady who works on the weekends clearly hates working here and comes across as extremely rude). DIRTY! Paper towels are lying all over the place and the bathrooms look like a warzone that even the CDC would probably advise against stepping foot into. The sketchiness of some of the clientele is also going up. Lately, there's been some homeless looking slob wandering around the gym during the middle of day annoying a lot of the members who clearly have no interest in talking with him.

They convinced me to sign up by offering a 3-day trial period, and OM promised to cancel the membership and refund all my money if I didn't like it. However, when I tried to cancel over the phone, they asked me to come in person. Upon visiting, they informed me that OM was busy, despite seeing him sitting idle and not offering any assistance.

The gym started OK, it's an LA Fitness afterall. The 30 lbs bumbbells are almost all gone, there's one left. This has been going on for a couple of months and no replacement, no sorry for the inconvenience, no nothing. The weights are rarely in their place. It looks like the night shift doesn't bother in tidying up before closing. Every morning the gym looks like a war zone. Despite the morning cleaning crew efforts. The paper towels are out and not replaced almost everyday and the hand soap in the bathrooms is the same thing. Maybe it's because I go at 5 am, but if your customer service is going to be different on the time you hit the gym, only open when you can provide a good service. This is at the Forest Ln location in Dallas.
