I really enjoy the pool and the hot tub. It only took about ten minutes to become a member. I'm a natural redhead and I don't like to get sunburnt, so the YMCA is perfect.

Not a fan. The membership is too expensive considering something you need is always broken. Day passes for a single day are half the cost of a monthly membership which makes no sense to me. You would think the employees would get paid more too since they are saving on repair costs from not repairing anything or hiring an adequate amount of staff. I've cancelled my membership but when I did go, the women's restroom in the weight lifting area never had soap either.

Just on vacation and stopped in for 45 minutes on the bike. Nice and busy place. Had a hard time finding a wipe or small towel for cleaning the bike. Otherwise fine.

Not much to do hereThere's only 3 basketball courts and usually 2 are taken for little kids and the other one is always fullStuff closes at noon which is not goodThe track is not well made. The running lane runs into a wall and too many curves

First and last experience at this ymca. Decided to step out my comfort zone and give a new Ymca a try if you like any sort of space when you workout I would not recommend. Had my small workout bag in front of me while working out a very entitled race, instead of asking me to move it, or saying excuse me or even a slight gesture to know I was in his way picked up my bag and THREW IT! to the point where my towel and water bottle were in the middle of the floor! I went to the front desk, some of the ladies were very nice and comforting which I appreciate - the manager on duty was not as nice, she called her supervisor and told me there was nothing they could do about it since there was no cameras in there and it was “his word against mine”. Insanity. Paid a years advance and will be asking about a refund after the holiday weekend and taking my money elsewhere!!

The staff is super friendly. But Ms. Karen is the absolute BEST!!! My 4yo daughter takes her gymnastics class and she is so patient and goofy and does not let them give up if something is scary or difficult. ❤️

Great gym, but some members definitely don't follow the whole be nice part of the membership. I watched an older man berate a mother and son, throw his goggles across the pool area, and then argue with the lifeguard. And then his wife had the audacity to also try to berate the mom. All because a child came in "his" lane in the pool. And his mother stood up for him when this man got belingerent and acted like a child.

The bettendorf YMCA is fantastic - it's clean, it's large, it has tons of equipment and facilities. Knocking off a star because the stationary bikes downstairs are like...always broken in some way, and there are not enough weightlifting clips. Where are they all going? Who is hoarding the clips?

Very nice facility. Lots of things to do and plenty classes offered. I fully appreciate the family/special needs changing areas.

I tried the one in Davenport and was very disappointed so I came to the one in bettendorf and I like it alot, so do my kids. They have so much to do from swimming, sports, dance and workouts! Staff and the people that go there are all very polite and friendly!
