Not biased at all just because I'm a NSHS graduate of 90, but I really appreciate the personable and professional staff, and extra kudos to the swimming / guard staff. Super attentive and willing to encourage young ones to do their best. Super fun splash pad open at 4, and safety flotation devices readily available ! Thank you for your services !

Very nice facility. Friendly staff. Not for the serious minded fitness "nut" family oriented is what the "Y" stands for...

The Eldrige YMCA is nothing more than the cheapest babysitter and daycare. and that's what you can expect if you go work out there you're working out in A-day care full of inconsiderate little kids that don't do anything other than take …

Disappointed in the size. Only 1 open gym and very small workout area. Only 4 elipticals, 10 treadmills and 2 stair steppers. The coed sauna was a let down. The pool area for kids is already broke and needed drained after a month of opening. I was told by Bettendorf staff they would have an egym which is becoming very popular and crowded.

Of course I'm partial, but it is so incredible to see everyone getting together and connecting at the Y. Sure, the pool, the gym, the weight room, the track and exercise rooms are top notch. But to see them used to build relationships and come together is outstanding. The whole region should be proud of their efforts and accomplishments!

Decent size more aimed towards youth in my opinion. Pool area is nice workout area rather small.

A place for the younger kids to hang out. I was disappointed that they didn’t have spin bikes and the exercise bikes they did have there are only 2. I was super excited for this place to be completed as it is super close for me. I will …

A big letdown, just like the Downtown YMCA. The executive patriarchy continues to not listen to their members and act as if they know best. Their CEO is a hot head who enjoys being a dictator and losing his temper. Amazing how no one heard of him throwing chairs in the gym full of children at the Downtown YMCA, followed by a short leave of absence. Or all the meetings he enjoys yelling at his employees and playing the blame game. No wonder their turnover rate is astonishingly high. And yet the board of directors turns a blind eye and allows Bradley (CEO) to act like a child. You spent $14 million on a facility and the gym is something that could be replicated in a garage. The layout could greatly be improved and yet they continue to design gyms by those who dont even workout. If their goal was to push members away, well good job. I worked as a personal trainer for the YMCA for over two years and there is a lot of area for improvement as the organization doesn't practice their values or code of conduct. My ask to the board ~ reevaluate your executives and stop turning a blind eye to your leaderships poor actions and attitudes. The way you treat your employees and members is far more important than your bottom line.

I really like the building layout. The track is something is something I use everytime I am there. There is also plenty of free weights and weight machines as well. Add the basketball court and the two pools and hot tub makes this a very nice place to work out.

The lifting area is to small! There is not enough machines nor is there a variety of machines. I feel that if you are going to build a new ymca you should have done it right and made it big enough from the start. The lifting equipment you have is nice because it’s new and that’s why i gave it a 2 instead of a 1 start!
