Beautiful studio! Definitely the best in the area! All of the instructors are very skilled and professional. Each class is different every time. The instructors excel in sequencing and cueing the poses/asanas. They also have the depth of knowledge and experience to offer multiple poses to deepen or soften the participant’s practice based on the participant’s mind and body’s current need during the class. The studio aesthetics are calming. The space is well refined and provides a sense of peace and well-being. The studio is warmly heated and professional props are provided for all participants.Vinyasa flow classes focus on working towards a peak pose in each class. Each class also includes mind grounding, warm up poses, a flow sequence, asanas working towards a peak pose and finishing poses. Relaxation and breath work are also included.Restorative classes are calming, relaxing and focus on developing participant’s mental and physical well-being.Specialty classes are offered frequently and almost all classes are offered on-line.Amy (the owner) has a wealth of knowledge and experience in almost every facet of yoga. She incorporates her depth of experience in providing cues and adjustments to allow her class participants to deeper their own practice.I moved to Arizona 1 1/2 years ago and have tried just about every studio and instructor in the Phoenix area. None come close to the offerings at Indigo. In fact, I still take the classes online as I enjoy them so much! The community is also positive and respectful of one another. The owner, instructors and students are all kind and loving, and truly care about one another. They make new students feel welcome and included from the first class on.Truly an exceptional studio!

I love Indigo Yoga. When I moved back to Dayton from the DC area I feared I would not find a great yoga place. I was so happy to find Indigo yoga. The classes are challenging but accessible. And Amy is so caring. Cannot recommend enough!

I have been practicing yoga with Amy at Indigo for several years. Her classes are always excellent and are exactly what I need. She is always bringing fresh knowledge and ideas into her classes and makes all of her classes accessible for the beginner as well as the seasoned practitioner.

Indigo Yoga is a community of wonderful instructors who are there to practice the art of yoga in a way that strengthens your body, mind, and spirit. I have done yoga throughout my life in different places, but two years ago I decided to make a commitment to practicing regularly. When I looked around, there was no better option. Amy and the other instructors are wonderful making each class accessible to every person in the room. Being part of the community at Indigo has made me feel different about myself in ways I didn’t even know I needed. If you are thinking of practicing yoga, you really should just invest the time at Indigo because Amy is a is a gem and we are so lucky to have her as a resource in our community.

The studio is inviting and has something for every level of student. The teachers and yoga students make a point to make everyone feel welcomed in a class. The workshops offered and the teacher training program are excellent. A beginner series is offered which helps build a solid foundation for your practice whether you are just starting out or are working to fine tune your asanas.

All the stars!!! I’ve attended 2 classes at Indigo so far, and I plan to make this studio my new “home” for practicing my yoga skills. The yoga instructors are so friendly, kind, and thoughtful! The space is homey and inviting! There are open cubbies for your personal things, and the studio temperature is just right! The studio offers equipment for your use, if necessary, which is a very nice feature, and sets this studio apart from others in the Dayton area. Indigo offers a variety of classes for all levels of practice and experience, and partners with the community to offer classes at alternate locations for certain class events!! The studio is in an excellent location, but parking can be a bit tricky - I accidentally parked in a reserved space for the neighboring business and it was made clear to me that this is not allowed (not even for the one hour class). Just be sure to double check that there are no limits on your chosen parking space! The good news is that there is plenty of overflow parking in the rear of the building, so it’s not a big deal, nor is it a far/unsafe walk. This yoga studio is another hidden gem in gem city, and I love this lavender yoga haven! Thank you, Indigo!

Loving it! I'm a newbie here after mostly doing my own at-home practice with videos. There's nothing like getting some professional feedback, though.I recommend signing up for one of the beginner series. Jenny was a great instructor for my first 8 weeks at Indigo. Then, take advantage of the new student full month deal to check out various classes and instructors.
