Quiet gym I normally love but the gym is to hot. Complained about the heat when it was 78 degrees previously and was told it was too early to use the air, that we could use the fans and they would keep the door open throughout the day. They now keep it at 73-74 so the entire gym is still hot. I go at night around 10 PM-11 PM and it’s still 76 sometimes 77 even with them keeping the air at 73 to 74. With how much you pay, compared to Planet Fitness you expect some air when you work out. Other than the heat it’s a quiet and nice gym.

Went to train there. I'm impressed

This is a nice, quiet private gym with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Much better than big franchise gyms. Classes scheduled throughout the week, private training available. Fitness instructors are awesome!

Do not be mislead by their small-town appearance... they are sharks and will bend you over just like any other gym.

Awesome 24/7 gym, with heavy weights. Sauna is always busted and showers closed anyways through the pandemic. I like it.

PSA: If you are a member of Legacy Fitness, you might want to contact them and ask for your account balance. They paused charging membership dues in April but resumed last month. If the credit card you have on file with them happened to have expired, they are adding $15 per month to your account as a “RETURN CC FEE”. Legacy Fitness management is unwilling to reverse the fee and refuse to cancel your membership until you pay it.

It's your standard locally own gym, who think getting in the industry is simple. It was purchased recently with new owners and new management have taken over in 2016, which was incredibly overdue. However, the basics of customer service/member services are still lacking, and or missed. I have had a couple membership stints with Legacy due to moving and moving back to the area. Previous manager... awful. He was more concerned about females and being a part of the teenage "brofest" that took place everyday. When my fiance and I came back, I believe it was the new GM who worked with us. She was great. Welcomed us back, got us all set up and very helpful. One think I keep quiet about when I am in there, is that I also work in the fitness/gym industry. I have worked for the "little guys" as well as the large corporate box gyms. So I understand it... I know the ropes. I also like to have a place to workout away from work, as well as support things in my community. So some of my experiences lately are as follows:I happened to be working out last week, and someone had come in to inquire about memberships. I popped my head phones off just to take a listen while they toured. Yikes... If it were one of my employees, they wouldn't be giving a tour of the facility again or working on their own, until they could prove to me they were capable of doing it with some enthusiasm. How do you expect to get someone excited about your facility if you're not excited about showing them everything you have to offer? This is 101 stuff.Another recent occurrence... my fiance happened to have a credit card # stolen. It happened to be the same card on file for her billing, and it happened days before the billing cycle. This is already a huge pain in the rear for us... then she gets a call from someone at the facility. Which is perfectly fine, again... I know the game I understand it, and we totally forgot. So a reminder is great. However... my fiance gets this call from Patty, about her billing and card on file. She explains the situation and says we will be in tonight we will get it taken care of. We did get in later that night, happened to be later than expected. We came in and there were people at the counter having a conversation so we just figured we would take care of it on the way out. On the way out nobody was attending the desk so we went on our way knowing we would be back tomorrow. Well... Patty calls and leaves a voicemail the following morning in a not so great manner. "Well apparently your plans changed yesterday and you didn't get this taken care of..." Pretty good representation. Then she proceeds to let my fiance know that if she doesn't hear back from her before noon, she will be closing the account. That part blew my mind. Legacy, it's no secret that your numbers aren't outstanding. Which is why there has been turnover in owners and management. Why in the world would you ever be placing calls with a threatening tone? Your approach should be willing to work with the members, and give them some time. The new card had not even arrived in the mail yet! And you're going to close off someones account for 1 bad billing cycle. Again, zero sense. You're only hurting yourself if that's your policy or approach to collections. Hopefully it's not, and Patty can be coached up. We aren't broke, and we aren't criminals... stuff happens, and we take care of it. I just can't believe placing calls to throw your weight around things it's going to solve anything. Member retention, and customer satisfaction all comes from customer service. It's not a new science... it's all about how you handle people. Like I said before, when we came back and who I believe is the current GM helped us, we were impressed, we were excited. Outside of that experience, not much positive take away. Which sucks, because we do try to enjoy it.I write this review, because I actually care, and want to express concern and help. I'm now at the character limit for this review which sucks because I have much more to say and would love to help.

The facility itself is just ok - decent equipment in a cramped space. However, be warned: terminating membership is not nearly as simple as they say. Upon leaving my job in Enon (and my only reason to ever visit Enon), I first attempted to hand-deliver my written notice to the staff at the gym. They informed me that I needed to send the letter to their billing service, which I did. Two months later, they are still sucking money out of my bank account, because I did not send my termination letter via CERTIFIED mail. Despite making my intentions clear to them TWICE, they made no effort to inform me of the certified mail requirement. My fault for not reading the contract closely and accepting the word of the staff and management. Congrats, Legacy Fitness, you stole $60 from me by exploiting contract fine print.

The guy I had just spoke to was not just nice but understanding. He had gave me the deals and hrs are awesome here. He also explained the policy very well and about the membership. He had told me its month to month and if you cancel you have to give a 7 day notice which is very reasonable!! RecommendAlso there tanning beds are level 3!
