I really wanted to wait until I completed my Level One course in Thai Yoga Massage to post a review. But, I just couldn't wait...What a secret gold mine located here in Dayton, Oh. Where do I begin? Anthony lives what he teaches. The first thing you learn about is Metta, which means loving-kindness and compassion. Anthony embodies Metta in all he does. Authenticity of the practice is very important to to him. You can see this and feel it in his work. He has made me feel at home at his studio, which I feel is very important and creates the perfect environment for learning. He is very knowledgeable on a variety of subjects; Thai Yoga Massage, Yoga, Ayurveda, Anthropolgy, Anatomy and so much more. He is willing to answer any questions you have and really takes the time to help you understand. As far as my training in Thai Yoga Massage, Anthony was just the person I was looking for. My class was originally supposed to have two other students, (they chose to postpone their learning to a later date,) Anthony decided to teach me anyway! He is very professional and thinks of all angles when it comes to his students and their learning.I feel like the time that I have spent with Anthony is precious. I enthusiastically look forward to my Level Two training! If you are looking to deepen your Yoga practice or add a different spin to your massage sessions, I would highly recommend Anthony's Thai Yoga Massage Certification!

I had my first Thai massage with Anthony, and it was a great experience. Anthony explained the history and theory behind Thai massage and made sure I was very comfortable. I really enjoyed both the massage and the conversation. If I lived in Dayton I would definitely go back and see Anthony often!

I am new Thai massage. I really enjoyed my session with Anthony. Even though, I am very active and work out daily, I find that my flexibility and range of motion has lessened as I've grown older. I understood that Thai massage is more about stretching and increasing range of motion than a Swedish massage. I really appreciated how Anthony listened to my needs, and he continually ask me to provide him feedback during my 90 minute massage. I felt great after. I highly recommend Anthony.

Anthony's yoga classes are far beyond exceptional! His classes are very adaptable to skill level and to the likes and needs of the individual. His knowledge of Ayurveda and Sanskrit help make his yoga classes authentic while his intuition and open mind keep the class fresh each time. Anthony's genuine kindness and knowledge gets me excited to attend his studio every time!

I have taken all three levels of Thai Yoga Massage (TYM) at The Om Yoga Studio and School of Thai Massage, which has led to my certification as a Thai Yoga Massage practitioner. For this knowledge and certification, I thought I would have to travel to NYC or California. I was happy to discover that Anthony Conrad is located in Dayton, Ohio, only one hour from Columbus. Anthony is highly knowledeable about the lineage of TYM; the poses and practice; and the human body's energy (sen) lines.I really liked Anthony's class structure which generally ran like this: morning greetings, TYM stretching for practitioners, review of the previous day's material, new material, lunch (one hour), review of morning material, a little new material. As for Anthony himself, I found him trustworthy, approachable, super smart, and definitely quirky. For me, his quirkiness added to my experience in a positive way.I would recommend Anthony's TYM courses to anyone, even those coming from other states or countries. His pricing is affordable (even for a university student) and the Dayton, Ohio location is an affordable place to eat/stay.

I really liked this class. Unlike other yoga classes that I have been to, the instructor was engaging, fun, and effective. He was helpful, and gave me personal attention. After the class, I felt refreshed and more interested in yoga as a complete system of thought, spirit, and mind integration...not just another exercise class.

Anthony Conard is a great teacher! He is able to explain and demonstrate the dynamics of Thai yoga massage in a graceful fluid format. I left his Thai Massage Class, level 1 and 2 a better practitioner and enthusiastic to learn more! Embracing this practice has helped me stay in the massage therapy world with out damaging my body. With his help I've built a foundation for my massage practice that is SAFE, effective, and fun, with out becoming completely drained or even injured by the end of the day. Anthony Conard also provides a rich cultural history of Thai Massage and teaches it's theoretical and philosophical origins transmitting a deep respect for the art to students. Secondly I have no problem making the trip from Columbus to attend one of his yoga classes. A 75 min drive is worth the 90 min. yoga class. The yoga studio is a space where deep learning can take place! Its not just another exercise class. Questions are allowed and if I've needed clarification about an asana he will make the time to give me personal 1 on 1 instruction during or after class. I highly recommend attending a yoga class, scheduling a Thai Massage or studying Thai Massage with Anthony Conard.

My husband and I have both received Thai massage sessions from Anthony. Each of has physical challenges and Anthony worked very skillfully with us giving a new sense of freedom of movement. I have also begun the training to learn Thai massage (I'm already a licensed massage therapist) and I was very impressed with the care and skill that he brought to his teaching. As part of the Thai massage training, we did some guided meditation and yoga; again, Anthony was a fun, caring, skilled leader. I recommend his studio, classes and sessions to anyone!
