Incompetent, negligent and unprofessional. I could go on and on, but this sums up the coaches!

Performance Gymnastics is a great facility with knowledgeable coaches and staff. They take the time to really get to know their kids and truly care about each and every one. We love it here!

I did like this place but now I have change my mind. This place does not tech the kids that good they do not tell you how your kids are doing each week or even then hole month. This will be her last month and going to a better place she can get her training she needs. I’m not paying $73 for nothing.

We recently had to move from Performance Gymnastics to San Antonio TX (Air Force) and I wanted to write this review so they knew how much we missed Performance Gymnastics.Perfomance Gymnastics did so much for my gymnast. Coming to Ohio was not an easy move from our previous Air Force Base in Germany. They not only helped her confidence and passion for gymnastics I saw first hand there knowledge and ability to coach my gymnast. She started year one at a level 3 and made it to level 7 in 3 years and with success on the podium. If you are looking for a place for a new gymnast or an accomplished gymnast in Dayton, start with Performance Gymnastics.

I was interested in trying out this facility as its close. I called ahead to schedule a trial class. I was told to come in at 10 am. I arrive 10 min early to fill out necessary paperwork only to find the lady at the desk has no clue what I'm talking about. The lady on the phone never signed me up for the 10 am class because there is no 10 am class. She said I could try the 1030 class since I was here and my daughter was excited. We waited 40 extra min (while with a young toddler) to finally get in the class. I was told 45 min which later learned it's an hour. My young toddler can't wait 1.5 hours but we did anyway. They got started stretching everything seemed fine until they got to the stations. I jumped out of my seat several times about to have a panic attack thinking my daughter is going to break her neck or wrist. They had a station where the kids had to forward roll over a big rolling mat but there was no staff to assist the kids and she's 4. I literally almost went in there myself to assist. Sadly one little girl did end up getting a sprained wrist from the station that I deemed unsafe. They gave her an uce pack. She was also doing a trial. After the hour long class the instructor knowing we were here for a trial didn't make any time for me by talking or discussing how my daughter did only to say she doesn't know how to stay in line. That's it. Nothing positive or even asking what we thought or how she liked it just left us. I felt that was very rude considering we waited 40 extra minutes for the class and we were a trial. Most business want customers so they make time for them. Anyway my daughter ended up not enjoying it anyway so it made for an easy decision of no. I just wish they would've made time for potential customers, treat them better by apologizing for their mistake, and being kind and excited for newcomers.

My daughter used to attend this gym, but we unfortunately had to move (family move to Virginia). Performance is a fantastic facility. Great equipment and layout. The coaches are BEYOND amazing. The owner/Head Coach has experience beyond reproach. She was a collegiate gymnast at one of the top programs in the NCAA. She’s coached at an elite gym and has made Performance her pride and joy. You won’t find a coach that cares more or works harder for her gymnasts. Whether you are looking for a gym for recreation classes or interested in competition team, PGA is the best!! The entire staff is amazing!! My daughter tried several other gyms in the area and none of them compared to PGA!!

Full disclosure—we were there for a trial class today so this is my review based on our first experience. No staff at the front desk to greet us and it smelled so awful. Other than the smell the facility looked really clean and I loved the huge viewing area. You could see the whole gym from anywhere in the lobby! We went into class and there was a clear zoo animal theme in the parent-child section—stuffed animals and balloons everywhere. I couldn’t catch the teacher’s name but I loved how she used the animal balloons to help the kids stretch; really clever. I wish she would have been able to show more of the skills during the circuits—I had trouble remembering what we were supposed to be doing. I was also frustrated by the defined circuits but only because it seemed like my son just wasn’t interested in following it 😂 The teacher was really friendly but of course, my son’s favorite part was jumping in the foam pit. I liked the ending song and the stamps and the coloring page. Once the class was over though it seemed that the front desk person still wasn’t there. Overall I thought the class was okay and facility looked nice but I could not deal with the smell of the gym.
