It's no Planet fitness. But it doesn't need to be. Plenty of equipment and a comfortable atmosphere. Staff seems friendly.

Best base gym I’ve ever been to. If you like open concept gyms and like to lift heavy… this is for you. It has 2 floors for weights/cardio, 3 Olympic lifting platforms, a spot of turf for the sled and tire lifts, plus much more. I’ll miss it dearly!

I love playing wallyball here and using the track upstairs. Lockers could use a little updating though

I’m an active duty single mom and I do everything I can to stay in shape for my pt test. The Saturday and Sunday hours are sad because they close at 2pm. I would just go to another gym on base but this gym is the only one on base with a indoor track. Dayton, OH snows and the temperatures drop pretty low in the winter months and it would be nice to have access to the indoor track beyond 2pm on a weekend for people with childcare concerns.

Great place to lift! Lots of weights. I wish the indoor track were longer.

Great gym. Lots of equipment. I do wish they had an indoor pool within the building. Regardless, it is still the best gym I have been to so far in the AF

Massive gym with everything you’d ever want. Absolutely horrible policy on no longer allowing contractors in the gym. It might be a good idea to treat the more productive employees on base a little better.

I loved this gym. Sadly this gym no longer loves me!I went to this gym for 3 years before Covid hit and it shut down. For those not in the know, Wright Patt has 3 classes of people. At the top is the military personal, then the Civilian workers and lastly us contractors.Slowly the military was allowed back in, then the civilian workers but I called the other day and contractors will not be coming back. This is sad as the gym is a main reason I sought a job here. I realize the "Caste" system hierarchy is part of base life but I never thought us contractors would become the "untouchables" . Oh...we can get in as "guests" and escorted by a military of civilian worker, but one cannot workout regularly with a babysitter who may or may not show up.Now I have to go to a gym 5 miles away instead of the one 1 block away.

If you PT Test here, make absolutely sure that you can do +10 of your maximums, you might just get away with the minimum! I joke, but the people at this Gym are notoriously form police. Do not mess around with your career and try to squeek …
