The bad reviews seem so Karenish. It's not a spa or hotel. It's a 100-year-old building and they got kids working there. Just go lift your weights brah. I love this place. For the size, probably the best gym I've ever been to. SO MANY facilities-- dedicated boxing room, pool, sauna/steam room, 2 basketball courts, + tons more. It's old-school & dope.

The staff here is hit or miss. Some of the clerks at the front desk are wonderfully sweet and helpful, others won’t even acknowledge your existence or mutter a hello while they scan your badge. The food court is a joke. I ordered a smoothie and had to teach the girl behind the counter how to make it because she didn’t know how to. The end result wasn’t anything great either, so I won’t be doing that again… the bathrooms are kind of gross too…Overall, the gym itself isn’t so bad. The weight room has plenty of equipment and free weights, lots of cardio equipment, a basketball court, and a pool. I’d say you’re definitely getting your moneys worth when it comes to the amenities and free classes, but be prepared to pay an additional $15 a month for parking if you don’t live downtown.

Nice location by the river. Staff are polite, facilities are clean, and the pool is also nice.

Fair and balanced review this y is probably the best equipped health club in Dayton with all the amenities the problem is the parking is terrible unless you go very early in the morn you will have to drive around looking for a place to park on the street or you can pay extra to park in a lot also restrooms here are generally NASTY

This is the only YMCA location I’ve ever come across that does not offer day passes for folks traveling through. Be forewarned before making the trip over.
