I do not recommend a membership here. Everything is broken all the time. Pool, kids pool, hot tubs, steam room, ALL THE TIME. I've tried to reach out and see why this is the case but I don't ever get a response. I'm so sick of the lack of response, the poor communication around things not working and the lack of reimbursement financially when we are not receiving what we are supposed to be paying for. The swim lessons were terrible and my children learned nothing in two months of weekly lessons. Thankfully we got into Little Kickers instead. Don't waste your time or money here, unfortunately the new leadership is dropping the ball on keeping this great community going and people are leaving in droves.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the JCC Fitness Center. It is unfortunate to say that this gym falls short on all fronts. The workout equipment is in dire need of replacement and the weight room is tiny and can't accommodate all of its members during peak hours. As a result, it's nearly impossible to have a complete workout without jumping from one station to the next as soon as it open up.The locker rooms constantly undergoing maintenance is equally frustrating. The hot tubs and steam rooms aren't reliable, and every time I try to use them, they're either closed or out of service. This is a huge letdown as I pay for these amenities as part of my membership, and it's unacceptable to have them constantly out of order. The outdoor pool is the pinnacle of this poor experience. It's hugely overpacked because the majority of the pool is for lap swimmers only, leaving very little room for families with children or those just wanting to have a casual swim. The unavailability of space means everyone wades around in the same 20ft by 20ft pocket of water, which isn't ideal as it gets chaotic and messy. The constant shuffling and weaving in and out of people isn't only frustrating but potentially dangerous.Overall, I cannot recommend this gym to anyone, as it offers a substandard experience for the fee paid. The lack of investment in the facilities, the scarcity of reliable assistance and equipment, and the overcrowding at the pool all work together to create a poor environment. I was left bitterly disappointed with my experience, and I hope that some serious improvements will be made soon.

I cannot believe how disappointed I am with my experience at the fitness center of JCC Denver. I joined with high hopes of finally reaching my fitness goals, but instead, I found myself constantly frustrated with the state of this gym.The locker rooms are always undergoing maintenance for broken hot tubs and steam rooms. It seems like every time I visit, there's a new sign apologizing for "upcoming maintenance," but it's becoming clear that the staff just doesn't care enough to keep the amenities in good condition.Speaking of staff, they're constantly rude. They spend more time chatting amongst themselves than they do helping members. If you actually need assistance, good luck getting it. They'll act like you're an inconvenience to their day and brush you off as quickly as possible.Lastly, the members who don't put their weights away are infuriating. It feels like every other time I try to use the weight room, there are weights littered all over the floor. It's not only dangerous, but it also shows the lack of respect that these teenagers have for the importance of keeping things clean and organized.Overall, I would not recommend this gym to anyone. It's a complete waste of money and will only leave you frustrated and annoyed. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a better fitness experience.

The JCC Denver Fitness Center is nothing short of disappointing. It's advertised as a state-of-the-art facility but it's far from it. The workout equipment is battered, breaking down and outdated. It feels like you're working out in a rusty old junkyard. If you're lucky enough to find a working machine, you might as well hold on tight because it's liable to break at any moment. The locker rooms are constantly under maintenance. The hot tubs and steam rooms are always out of order. It's supposed to be a relaxing retreat, but every time I go, it's closed for repairs. It's frustrating and a complete waste of my time. The staff is too busy texting and chatting amongst themselves to notice their customers. They seem to have no interest in helping or performing their duties at all.The teenage members that frequent the gym are another nightmare. They are rude, disrespectful, and have no concept of gym etiquette. They don't put their weights away, making it hazardous for others to navigate around the gym. It's a complete mess and drives me mad every time I step onto the workout floor.Overall, the JCC Denver Fitness Center is a complete waste of money and time. It's rundown, poorly maintained, and filled with ignorant teenage members who treat it like a playground. If you're looking for a quality gym that values its customers, look elsewhere. Save yourself the pain and aggravation.

This review is of swimming lessons only - nothing else. 1) FACILITY: Their pool seriously needs to be resurfaced; it's stained and disintegrating. It's also very hard to get the water temperature right in the family showers and sometimes there is no hot water at all. Hard to deal with with an antsy toddler. 2) LESSONS: The instructors for the group lessons are really hit-or-miss. Some are excellent, some are clueless, others just don't show up. 3) BILLING: Know that once you pay for something in their online registration system, your money is gone and there is no way to get it back.

Year round heated pool - always lanes available -and affordable memberships!

A nice compromise between your traditional chain and my more hoity-toity options like the DAC. I also look like the more cultural aspect the JCC provides, and the fitness center is almost always low-key.

It's a lovely pool. Is it exceptional? No. Serviceable? Absolutely. I trust you'll enjoy it, but don't expect a waterpark just because there's a slide.

Everything is awesome about this place except for the hours. I wish they were open longer but I understand not everyone is wanting to spend all night at the gym like me. This place is almost a gym rats dream.
