This gym has been great for my son who is interested in boxing. They have been teaching him the fundamentals and everyone is so nice! So happy we found this gym!

Great boxing gym with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They offer excellent boxing classes for everyone from beginners with no boxing experience to advanced level boxers. Their gym is well stocked with heavy bags and equipment along with plenty of room to work.

I have wanted to learn boxing for a while now, but always felt intimated by the other gyms and the classes they would offer. Some other gyms were even saying you’d be put into the ring to spar even on your first class, which to me was …

Don't judge a book by its cover! Looks a little sketchy on the outside but it's a great boxing gym with fun (but tough) classes on the inside. The owner is very accommodating and lovely! Really enjoyed taking classes there. Highly recommend! Expect to be very sweaty and very sore!

I just finished the beginner boxing class taught by Jorge and absolutely loved. Jorge definitely knows the boxing game, and is able to break it down to us beginners so you are able pick it up quick. Every class I was learning something new and getting better. I am excited to continue my training.

Awesome boxing gym. The beginner's boxing class with Jorge is great. He really knows his stuff and is a great teacher. He made me feel welcome right away. If you have been wanting to learn some boxing fundamentals and get in a good sweat session, go see him!

I took the Introductory Boxing Class and thought it was a good class. Jorge was a fun and passionate instructor. Kenny, the owner, was good to work with and the gym memberships seemed like a good value. However, after I completed the introductory class, I decided to go with a different type of gym instead. Two months later, I discovered that my credit card was still being charged for Tao of Boxing's normal gym membership, I contacted Kenny asking for a refund of those additional months as I had only signed up for the Intro Class. He refused, sending me the initial waiver I had signed for the class. There was some fine print that said all promotional memberships will automatically convert to regular gym memberships unless an email cancellation is sent at least 15 days in advance. It seemed I had just signed up for the Intro Class and that I would later sign up for a regular membership if I chose to continue. I should have asked more questions, but the extra $160 in charges came as a surprise to me and the fine print explanation by the gym seemed disingenuous. It's a good gym, but buyer beware.

This is the second gym I have gotten a membership to box at. I can say the environment and people are amazing! My boyfriend and I felt welcomed instantly after the first class. You won't be sold a membership and that was a big play in our decision to join!
