First let me say that some of the 1 star reviews seem like they are from the same person using different profiles. With that said I do understand some of their thoughts. I took my first class and I have a few thoughts of my own.1. Class was what I would call busy and I can see why. Rico is high energy, funny in a good way, friendly, and clearly talented and passionate about what he does.2. After class I DEFINITELY felt like I had an amazing workout. With that said go into the class knowing that you may not be able to do everything 100% just do your best and put in the work. NO ONE there made me feel bad or guilting for that.3. I would say I did leave class feeling as though it focused on the cardio/workout aspect more. I would have really enjoyed and appreciated learning some box fundamentals (Thats part of why I choose boxing classes here instead of the "Kickboxing" classes at my gym"Final thoughts and remember this is only after 1 class. I do feel as though I did miss out on the fundamentals a bit. Would have been nice to know the stance and the mechanics of throwing the punches. With that behind me I truly enjoyed the class, the trainer, the people everyone knew each other and more importantly Rico knew everyone. Felt like an extended family. His talent and passion came out when watching him teach the kids class before mine and also to my class. I will definitely be attending more classes. I would suggest if your thinking about joining or if you are looking for something for your kids to do this is the place for you.

Coach does not dedicate time on students, he's got few clowns as coaches instead of hiring real coaches, for cardio it's OK. For boxing skills you will never get no where.

For cardio its good. Hygiene is bad, he puts young guys with no boxing experience do sparring with others that do have exoerience and people get hurt. No real coaches, guys with no experience coaching, he found easy way to have someone else pay his mortgage car payments lol I would do it too. Lol

Best boxing gym around the area. The classes Rico and his team run are a must for kids and adults. I encourage anyone to go give it a try, nothing to lose, and a lot to gain. 5 starts. You guys are awesome.

Awesome! I paid for the $20 drop in just to see how it was. The 1 hour adult lesson was fun and cardio intensive and they teach me the basics before I started.

Great place! My 11 year old has been going there for 3 months now and we are not stopping any time soon.

Had a great 1st workout. No nonsense boxing workout with great coaches and welcoming classmates helping me learn the combinations. Signing up for a few months!

I can't begin to express how disappointed I am in this gym and the level of customer service I didn't receive. So, for starters I have background in boxing and have even taught boxing to all ages and demographics. I had been emailing the owner about me taking a class and getting basic information about time, payment options etc. He vaguely told me what I needed to hear and is very spotty with emailing back promptly. I bring up the email situation because it is the only form of communication the gym offers of the website. That was strike one. So, I showed up to the 8pm class all ready to workout and the 1st individual I saw teaching a class told me to have a seat . Initially I thought nothing of this because he was teaching a different class and probably didn't want me to interrupt, that's understandable. So maybe 10 minutes went by and that class ended and what I can only assume was my class had started. The man who initially told me to sit down had since disappeared and younger guy was teaching the 8pm class. I sat and watched as they warmed up and then begin to do boxing circuits. I hadn't got up because I, the customer, a fresh face in a new gym didn't want to intrude on my intended class to greet/introduce myself when that's their job. I also didn't want to jump in on the class because I hadn't signed any health waivers of filled out any basic information paperwork upon entering the gym and in the unlikely circumstance I got hurt or broke gym equipment I would be liable. Ultimately I sat, I waited, and I watched while no one asked me who I was, if I needed any assistance or what my business was with the gym in the first place. God forbid someone walks in this gym with any ill intent of wrong doing because they prob would get away scot-free. Not to mention they have children's classes too?! Tsk tsk tsk. Bad move Rico's, bad move. Needless to say I wont be going back here anytime soon.

This coach is amazing, knowledgeable and very energetic. Not only does he provide kids with boxing skills he makes it fun and builds their confidence. Highly recommended..

Not a gym for everyone. While the workouts that the gym offers are good, the quality of legitimate coaching leaves a lot to be desired. If you’re in it solely for the cardio then there’s no better workout, but anything more than that (i.e learning fundamentals, competitive boxing skills) should be left to other gyms or personal trainers.
