Love the Centre of Elgin. Very accommodating to my nonverbal son with autism for 22 years.Steve the aquatic director is amazing and so are all of the guards. They are the best at teaching any age, to learn how to swim.Huge slide and toddler area. 8 lane Olympic size lap pool and therapy pool.Never had an issue - my son even attended the amazing preschool when he was 3 & 4 years old, with accommodations. He also attended their camp- which he loves !!Love the Rec Center- always friendly and welcoming to my whole family thru the years.

Friendly, welcoming, and guiding through my workout with very clean and pleasant accommodations! I utilize for my own home physical therapy now and found it to be very appropriate and reassuring all the way around! Thank you for being there!

Rating their Fitness Center: This place has potential to be a great workout facility. Sadly, there are a few things they lack on. Prices can be a little too high for what they offer, reaching out to a manager online can be a struggle, if you want to speak to someone in person about a concern it has to be in the morning no afternoon admin staff, their hours of operation are not the most convenient; it would be beneficial to close a little later during the week and open earlier on weekends, machine cords (cables) are all over the place waiting for an accident to happen, staff is not always friendly; while not necessary, staff should be able to clean/wipe down machines every hour for clients to focus on their routine. On the other hand, their music selection is always on point, parking is wide, everyone can ask for a locker, track is free, machines are semi-new, sauna & whirlpool are always well cared for.

Reactivated my gym membership and Monica was so helpful, she mentioned the girls gym which I was not informed the first time I had my membership!! She was so patient and gave me a tour of everything!!

Nice location with lots of amenities. Nice workout area, large multiple pools and party areas. Connected parking garage so you don’t have to walk outside. Small kids pool with a slide and larger lap pool on the other side.
