If you want to heal and start feeling better, this is the place!I had a hamstring injury that caused me chronic pain for 10 years. I had seen several different PT’s over time but no one was able to fully fix the problem. After the first visit at Convergence I knew I was in good hands! It’s taken some time to get better because an injury this long isn’t a quick fix, but I’m healing! My chronic pain has gone way down and I’m able to do things I haven’t been able to do in a very long time!I 100% ewccommend Convergencept!

I came to Convergence as a senior runner with a lifelong history of knee pain. Tyler evaluated me and developed a treatment plan to strengthen muscles, alter posture and modify/coordinate movement. I am now running pain-free, and am even able to run down hills on my route.I had sought physical therapy about ten years ago for this issue but had not seen benefit from traditional PT exercises and treatment. That therapist felt I should not pursue further running, and so I quit running for another ten years or so.So glad I found Convergence. They work with athletes who are beset by symptoms that haven't prevented them from continuing with their sports, but who would like to find solutions from pain or other problems that prevent their best performance.

Convergence is a top tier physical therapy clinic, and Tyler's depth of knowledge in biomechanics and strength training is incredible. As a fellow physical therapist, I've learned a ton from Tyler. And not only is Tyler a super sharp PT, he's also personable and engaging. Convergence is THE place to go in Eugene for all your physical therapy and sports performance needs.

Mariel at Convergence is an amazing PT. She's been helping to sort out some chronic overuse knee pain and other posture issues from cycling. Her care, attention, and knowhow have given me a sense that I'm (finally!) on the path to recovery. She was able to diagnose the underlying skeletal and postural problems that gave rise to the pain (turns out your ribs, diaphragm, and pelvis do ultimately connect to your knee 😉)... and has worked with me on several subtle movements to not only relieve the pain, but actually correct my posture on and off the bike. She also volunteered to work with a DO I've been seeing to team up on my case. It's rare to feel this cared for in the professional medical world. But Mariel and the folks at Convergence seem to truly be in it to help people. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

I am so pleased with my experience at Convergence. I was dealing with a wonky shoulder (that's the clinical term, I'm sure) that was making Olympic lifting a tad uncomfortable. Mariel handily diagnosed my issues and set me up with the tools and the stretches I needed to get it back in working order. I am so grateful! My original issue is fixed, and we're now working on keeping the rest of my body in sustainable shape based on both my athletic activities and my daily life requirements. The entire staff is super friendly, and the personally tailored workouts and stretches are top notch.I highly recommend.

Mariel made a significant impact on my dominant arm regaining its range of motion and strength after a scary rollover crash I experienced one foggy morning on the way to work. Someone ran a stop sign into me at 55mph. As a former collegiate runner, and basketball player who has an active career, my ability to move is very important to me. After my arm surgery I was worried that I would never feel like an athlete again. My arm was very much stuck when I got out of my cast. Mariel was very kind and relateable, and very knowledgeable in techniques for treatment, while also being creative in making exercises fun. I am now running, lifting weights, and shooting a basketball again, getting stronger, and am back to fulfilling my career duties. I loved Convergence PT’s facility, as it has a sick gym space. I recommend them with all my heart. The staff is professional and friendly, and is eager to help you get back to where you want to be and beyond. I’m convinced that if I had gone elsewhere, I would have not seen the same great results. Thank you Mariel for helping me in my journey to healing! If you are looking to make a comeback after an injury, no matter how scary, Convergence can help you get there.

Dr Mariel is so awesome! She's helped me through many adventures, always impressing me with her skills to get me through whatever crazy injury I manage to find. One in particular was a pinched nerve in my neck which sidelined my health/fitness goals for longer than I care to admit. While a slow journey as pinched nerves usually are, along with her help I'm returning to life and my goals are finally within reach again. And I'm over the moon about it!She has a magical way of meeting me where I am (physically, etc) and guiding my care around my fitness level, goals, and what I can realistically take on between visits. She makes healing, recovery, and improving performance accessible and achievable (no matter what your 'performance' goals are!). She's a rock star!I've not seen Dr Tyler as a patient but have had some chats with him, and he is pretty darn awesome and super knowledgeable! When it comes to add-on bonuses, you won't get any better than Loren. He is also super knowledgeable, inspiring, and so much fun to have as a trainer!

Convergence PT/Sports Performance has a top tier team and facility! I started going there for PT because of long term shoulder issues and have continued with the strength/conditioning to maintain and improve for my sport. There are always good vibes in the building and the practitioners have an excellent understanding of the human body and how to treat it. I injured my back in training and could barely sleep but was able to get scheduled the next morning with Mariel and with that one session got my range of motion almost to 100% and she gave me the tools to keep recovering so that I could return to training ASAP. Convergence is the best!!

Fun and encouraging environment. Been going consistently for 3 months for our volleyball team. We have seen great results on the court with our movements and strength. It is helpful that they are licensed PT's to accommodate our workouts to different injuries.

Tyler and his team have done a great job writing our volleyball team a lifting program. We have been lifting consistently for about a month now and we're already seeing the results on the court. It is also beneficial that he is a licensed PT, so he knows the movements that will help us succeed.
