I have been a member of this gym now for 3 months. In those three months I have gained self confidence, basic boxing knowledge and a mood boost. I woke up one day and was depressed and saddened by what my body has become. I was 551 pounds with a little girl and it hit me like a ton of bricks I’m going to die before she graduates high school. I’m going to miss a lot of first and she’s going to miss her father. Now I have exercised in the past as a young man and it was never fun for me. Running sucks,Just weight lifting sucks even walking into a gym gave me more anxiety than I can express. So I decided maybe learning something while I exercise would work. I looked at BJJ , karate, and number of other things but I’m not big on sweating all over other people. Boxing stood out to me for a number of reasons, full body work out, hard cardio workout and in a pinch maybe I could fight off multiple attackers if need be. That’s when I found this gym empire! Good reviews close to my house and the classes fit with my schedule. It went very fast and efficient to sign up and pay. Sign a weaver and boom! I was in class. Adam and Ryan are my coaches and they know why I was there on the first day. It’s either this or die for me. I don’t want to sound hyperbolic but In all understanding that what it was for me. Adam and Ryan are both understanding of my situation but also push me to do more then I think I can. If I’m slipping or dropping my hands to breathe I can hear a “ hands up” and that’s my hint to bring them up. It’s ok to breathe but never drop your guard I’m told. They don’t over look anything I do if I miss a beat or “paw” at a bag because “I’m just there to exercise”. I’m expected to do my best and no one is ever left behind. If you need a quick refresher they are there to help in the most productive way possible. it seems to me everyone is in different fitness levels and they cater to that. It doesn’t matter what your fitness level is. This gym is here to help. Adam and Ryan seem to genuinely care about the health and progress you make in this class. They are up lifting and ready to help. I can’t say enough good things about empire boxing and fitness. The only thing I have lost joining this gym so far has been 29 pounds and a little anxiety.

My daughter is super shy and coach Adam and coach Enrique got her out of her shell and she has more confidence in herself than I have ever seen. The coaches are absolutely amazing they don’t push them into things they aren’t ready for. I would highly recommend them. I’m thinking about joining myself in the women’s group.Thank you coaches for all you doSincerely April and Joci

My son has started training with Coach Enrique and wow what an impact it has made on him. He is focused, disciplined and picking up agility and power skills. He was learning so quickly, gaining muscle, and confidence that I had to try it myself. I joined private sessions with Coach Adam and you would not belief the coordination skills, strength, and confidence I am gaining. I haven't worked out in over 6 years and Adam motivates and builds plans to keep me in the game. Empire boxing is a game changer. Get started today!

I absolutely love the atmosphere of this gym and the coaches are more than welcoming, kind, and motivating. Especially Coach Akayla who quickly rekindled a passion in me to take boxing more seriously. There are many women that I personally know who are looking for a way to begin their boxing journey and I 1000% recommend Coach Akayla's women classes! It is a great introduction to the world of boxing and all levels are welcomed. If you're nervous or scared, she will reassure you, empower you and make you feel like your innermost bada**. I promise you will have a great time :)

This gym is amazing!! I signed up for the women's boxing class and had an absolute blast. Within one month I felt a change in my confidence, strength, and endurance. The coaches are all super helpful and fun to work with. I highly recommend if you want to feel empowered and fit. The class is inclusive to all levels of experience and is tailored based on the size and needs of each group that show up.

I consider myself an extremely introverted person. Social settings make me cringe and the thought of joining a gym fuels my nightmares. But I’ve been in need of something to help break all of that. After talking to coach Adam over the phone, I had a good feeling going into this experience. From day one Adam and coach Enrique have made me feel comfortable and welcomed. I had zero boxing experience before coming to Empire and honestly didn’t know if this would be something I’d be into long term, but Adam and Enrique have me excited about boxing and I am looking forward to continuing my lessons at Empire. Can’t recommend this enough!

My son is 13 , started one on one lessons with Adam 9 months ago. Unlike soccer he can’t wait to get to training every week. His 8th grade year at school is also going so much better than years past . The boxing, and relationship with Adam has enabled him to have a lot more self respect as welll as confidence. I couldn’t be happier !

I started boxing here with coach Adam about three months ago and had mentioned my goals about wanting to compete. He has been working with me closely and I've learned alot of new skills in my short time being there. He's good at explaining things and at pushing you to take steps towards your goals in and out of the gym. This gym has become a home away from home to me. I recommend this place for anyone looking to improve their health through boxing and have fun with great knowledgeable people. I look forward to seeing Empire Boxing Gym grow and am excited to be a part of it.

I've always been a little lost in my fitness journey in the sense that I had nothing to work for or towards. Boxing has provided a reason to be active, work on my diet, stay busy, and provided progression. I knew nothing about the sport going in but after conversations with Coach Adam I jumped into a class. I won't lie it isn't going to be a nice relaxing time. You will work (It's still fun). That's the best part though. The whole coaching staff is great. I can always ask any of them for help. If you've read this far into the review then it's time to give Adam a call and get the ball rolling.

This was my first time ever boxing (or doing any martial arts/sport) and I’m so glad I jumped in! I took Coach Adam’s beginning class from February to August, and had to leave for my school program, but I hope to be back! All of my future gym experiences will now have a high bar to cross, thanks to this gym!Adam, the main coach, is one of the coolest people I’ve met, and was really easy to learn from. As a teacher, I admired his routines and clear instructions. He knows when to break a move down into simpler steps and answered every question I had with perceptive expertise (and I had a lot of questions, haha). He was extremely patient and encouraging, very knowledgeable of boxing, and happily accommodated when I had a wrist injury and needed modified exercises. He took the time to know each of his students and understand their learning style (for example, I felt a lot more comfortable trying a new skill when he gave me some space to practice by myself first before he came over to observe. That was so appreciated!!!).The other coaches are super friendly, too, and the rest of the students I’ve met were very agreeable and happy to support each other. They’ve built a welcoming community for everyone, including women. Definitely give this place a try!!!
