Hot inside. Bathrooms are dirty and stink. Parking sucks. Seating is uncomfortable. The old male referee with white curly hair and glasses is a prima donna. Nice volleyball courts.

Very nice gym with exceptional trainers and coaches. They have many opportunities for players than having to commit to club. Training, camps and leagues. They do have regional club that is a more affordable price than other clubs and getting top notch coaching.

Can play pickleball on the gym floors. 4 courts available and can reserve a spot for pickleball use.

A state of the art volleyball facility, professional management, and flawless execution. Dave and his staff are well-steeped in volleyball know how. If you live in the Puget Sound area, this is where you should train. I have known Dave for 28 years. He personally exemplifies the attributes that make a volleyball player excel in life -- hard-working, resilient, and efficient. He loves kids; he loves volleyball, and he loves winning. Run, don’t walk.

We have club experience, multiple club experience. Each club served as a building block that served its purpose, but Academy is in a class of it's own. This is definitely the best place if your child is competitive, driven and hardworking. The most ball touches, the best conditioning, compassionate coaching, involved owners. As I write this, Academy has a couple professional players guest coaching from overseas, I mean what other club offers this kind of experience? Practice isn't a chaotic scene, it's a well orchestrated disciplined event, with energy, focus and even fun. There is a dedicated conditioning coach who pushes the players to work hard in resistance training. When you lay down your club dollars, and step back and compare the value of this club vs 98% of all other clubs out there, this is hands down the best club volleyball training around. My only regret is we didn't make the move earlier.

I love their facilities and it is a great club. Where you can meet lots of new people and get better at volleyball👍🏽 …

Great facility, lousy owner. Autocratic, erratic and egotistical. It is not surprising how many players and coaches are "from" wvba. Honestly girls, pick a different club.

If you are thinking of sending your daughter to WVBA "DON'T". My Daughter has been Playing Volleyball since 5th grade. She played on Girls 18 team when she was 15 years old. She is an above average Player. Last year she tried out for WVBA 17 team thinking of there excellent reputation of top players in the NW. She was put on a team that skill level of players were not what should be 17 standards. From January to June playing tournaments every weekend, I can count the number of SETS not Games won on my fingers. I can't believe WVBA would take their money and let these girls play. For the season with travel almost $9,000. It has soured my daughters will to play this year and will give up on volleyball altogether.

The facility itself is a large rectangular building with the admin and shops upfront. The rear of the building consists of space for 6 volleyball courts. There are also basketball hoops attached to the walls that can be pulled out for games. Four courts were set up the day I visited, 2 side by side with a court of space used for bleachers in between. The poster who complained of the courts being too close and balls coming into theirs from adjacent courts is correct. The facility does have very nice large digital displays for the score. This is nice as you can see if from the stands and court. The names of the team's are input instead of having to guess who is home or guest. The building itself is very cold, there is a chill coming in from the front door. There is a concessions stand up stairs and a pro shop downstairs. The pro shop sells shirts, sweaters, backpacks, shoes, balls, ankle supports, straps, and icing devices. The concession stand sells a variety of food and drinks, there is no grill. All the food is microwaved or heated with water like soup and noodles. The stand prices seem to be about 4 times the normal supermarket price. They served a limited variety Quiznos subs. They have a guest wifi if you need, the info is next to the concessions stand. There are two gigantic fans on the ceiling, presumably to keep airflow.
