Nearly a year ago I walked into Cascade, and it was one of the best decisions I made. I attended a morning session and immediately felt welcomed. I could sense the positive vibes from the people in the class; starting with the instructor. That same quality/energy remained no matter which class I attended. Once I finally met professor Andrew, I could see how that vibe trickled down throughout the school. All the instructors are patient, great attention to detail, and very knowledgeable about the art. If you’re looking to start Jiu Jitsu, like me, one class here and you’ll be hooked.

Moved here from Texas and needed a new school. 2 years later and I’m still going here. Professor Andrew is excellent and coach Kyle on morning classes is great too. I’d highly recommend this school for anybody wanting to get into BJJ.

Professor Andrew does an awesome job creating a safe training environment. We train hard and get after it, but the emphasis is always on the safety of your training partner. Really love this place and would highly suggest it to people of all levels.

The family has been coming here for over 4.5-years now (to include my 5-year old for over a year now). Professor Andrew and his wife,Ms Amy, do a great job with all ages and I feel we are all learning at a SAFE/consistent pace for kids and adults. They give the right amount of push for the goals we're seeking. If you want to compete, they're there for you. If you don't want to compete, they're there for you. It's a positive environment where fellow students are supportive without big attitudes. A place where you can train at your intensity level, but can step up that intensity at any time. We CHOOSE to continue our training here for these and many more reasons..... see you soon.

Dropped in for a class from out of town. Gym was clean, and well kept. Professors made instructions clear and concise and showed excellent knowledge the moves they were teaching. Will definitely drop back in next time I’m in town.Bottom line, nice dojo, knowledgeable professors and extremely welcoming. Much respect.

The culture of this gym; set by the owner, Prof Andrew Solheim is one of peace and humility. The place is full of really nice killers that are helpful and humble to everyone on the team. A true team environment has been cultivated by the leadership of all different belts. I've been training at this gym semi-regularly for about 3 months, and it already feels like home when I walk in. Everett is blessed to have this gem.
