I joined planet fitness march of this year, never belonging to a gym before. I was 80lbs overweight and thought I may be intimidated. Luckily that was not my experience. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. The support I've received, and the classes have made a world of difference while beginning my fitness journey. The place is incredibly clean, the staff is always cleaning and attending to equipment. The trainers, Spencer and Alicia have the ability to meet you where you are at, while still pushing you to be your best!! The new addition to their staff, the assistant manager Valerie, is remarkable. She is friendly, always smiling and is willing to share her own weight loss story which is indeed inspiring. If I could rate this location higher than a 5 star... I would!! Keep up the great work planet fitness!!

Cheap gym, which is good, but minimal equipment. Mostly exercise machines and no bench press, squat rack, etc.

Nice place to workout, some members just play with their phone, instead of working out and tie up a machine

Planet Fitness is supposed to be a 24/7 gym, yet this one closes at 9:00 pm on Fridays, and 7:00 pm on Saturday & Sunday. :(

One of the nicer PF's. Love the spacious Floorplan. Of course, you have you good deal of Lunks and I've yet to hear the siren. Also, one trainer held classes with around 6 people taking up the main floor weight machines. I think there should be a room designated for that so that EVERYONE ELSE should have to wait for them to disperse.

I love this club. I can go in at anytime and use just about any machine without a long wait. I never have to wait for cardio. Facility is always very clean. Clients are polite and it truly is a judgement free zone.Over the past two months, I’ve participated in trainer led programs with Alicia Rodrigues. With her help, I’ve been able to lose almost 25 lbs and dropped two pant sizes. She pushes me to give just a little more but never to where I feel exhausted. She encourages to take breaks when I need it. She has helped me work on areas that I want to perfect. She is amazing!My only concern, is that on many Saturday mornings, the front desk staff is often alone and running around trying to do so much. But, she gets it done!!!I’d totally recommend Planet Fitness Somerset!
