Good, clean and a lot of machines and other things that are good

I want to preface this by saying I have never left a bad review before. It takes a lot to get me to speak up. But I am so mad. I originally joined back in my hometown. The Anytime Fitness there was small but clean, well-lit, and had well-spaced out machines. The staff was present, friendly, and helpful. I felt okay with what I paid. I originally thought my contract was a year (no one told me otherwise) but it turns out it was a two year contract. Okay. I’ll accept that. I should know better to read the fine print. But I moved to Fayetteville, and this is the closest Anytime Fitness. I am disgusted. The walls and floors are peeling. It just feels depressing. The smell is…interesting. The machines and equipment are worn out and peeling. The machines are nasty and dirty. Everything is so clustered- I don’t feel safe on some of those machines pushed together in the corner. I am beyond angry. I’m stuck paying $60 a month for THIS. I’m locked into a contract for another year for THIS. I wish I had taken more pictures, but I honestly just wanted to get out of there. I was upset, and still am.

This gym is always clean, has new things being added to it to meet the needs of the members, and never feels busy when I am there.The owners and the manager Ashley are always bringing the right people in for fixing the machines when needed, doing things for the community, and in communication with members when things change at the gym. Hands down, very satisfied. Did I mention how clean the bathrooms are and how there is always toilet paper available?! #priorities

The gym itself isn't all that great (old equipment that needs to be replaced, not very much space/equipment in general, etc), but the biggest issue is that they will make it as hard as possible for you to cancel your membership. There's often no staff members there during the hours that they claim and they won't answer your phone calls or emails. I had to cancel my debit card to get them to stop charging me.So, I guess if you're fine being roped into that kind of thing for a mediocre gym, then go for it. I wouldn't recommend it though.

On month three of cancellation and still being charged. Spoke with a staff meme we who assured me I was cancelled and would be refunded my charges and I still and getting charged. For some “home gym” type atmosphere I have never had such a hard time canceling any other gym membership like I have this one.

Awesome local owned gym. Older equipment but actually can get real lift in, my kinda gym thou. Steal plates and db over 100 lbs. Read other reviews about cancellation, No issues from members in gym that I have spoke with regarding that- sounds like an issue with the member, everyone is friendly and helpful! A lot better than the gyms down the street.

New to the gym, so far loving it! I love how you feel like your apart of this gym from the get go and just not a member that no one knows your name. Everyone is friendly and great to work out with. Looking for a gym- Reach out to Ashley and she will get you taken care of- Great all around!

Close by and largely clean and easy to get in quick work outs. Big issues with incompetent staff however, friendly sure but even with new owners seems the same issues. They auto-renewed my annual contract even when it was known I didn't consent and supposedly it was taken care of. Now occasionally money keeps vanishing from my account, I call, someone says they'll fix it no problem. This keeps happening, even after speaking to new owner and his assurance it won't happen. Be Careful.
