The last month and a half I’ve done something I usually don’t do. Stepped outside my comfort zone.Shan turned me onto Beautifully Savage Boxing studio and Joe Buckner. Anyone who doesn’t know Joe should make it a point to know him. He has changed my life for the better! Covid really messed with my mental health. I gained a lot of weight and just stopped caring about myself.Shan sent me info on a fit to fight challenge for a small group of men. The focus was on helping men become the best version of themselves, for themselves and also their families. This was my opportunity to end the current situation I was in. I decided to put myself first and made that leap. It’s absolutely my favorite thing to do now! I look forward to the classes. I look forward to pushing myself every week. I look forward to having Joe encourage me to keep fighting for what’s important.Joe is my guy. Boxing is my thing.#BeautifullySavage

All I know is they are seeing my sons without a releases from a legal guardian for free and I’m sure even if I did give permission we would not income qualify for subsidies. Suspicious. No adult will call me back and my sons are very protective of the gym- feels wrong to me as a parent. Lots of red flags. I’m looking into it. If you’ve had a similar experience or have additional information please reach out. I will reserve judgement and update this review if or when someone contacts me.

Not a real boxing gym. When I joined I warned the owner that I might be leaving town after classes. He assured me that was not a problem and that we could cancel the contract at anytime and that it was more for liability purposes. When classes ended he enforced the contract and tried to dispute the chargeback.

Amazing work out, amazing atmosphere and amazing coaches! Coach Christina was super welcoming during my first class and I quickly got hooked!

When i first started coming to this gym, I would be super nervous about working out— always thinking “dang i’m so out of shape, this is gonna suck” BUT… i have gone out of that mentality. It’s very much a you-vs-you environment. Not only do you want to be better on your own, but everyone you meet in class is so kind and wants you to be better too- coaches included!Every now and again, Coaches (mainly Coach Joe) will tell me “alright now… that looks a little light” and switch my weight— But it definitely pushes me to see my own potential.Coach Shelby is super dope. She will definitely introduce you to new movements both on and off the bag. Her muay thai background is pretty badass, and her classes reflect that in her circuit station training style. She does kickboxing in her weekend classes, so check those out!Coach Stina is amazing. She is super encouraging in her coaching, and provides a lot of alternatives for your fitness experience level. Her yogi background plays into the cool-downs, which is nice after such a high intensity workout!Coach Logan does 8 rounds on Saturdays, so if you really like to box, check him out. He’s big on the mechanics of boxing, and body weight movements/cardio. Same with Coach Jeremy! He does 5ams, and if you’re a morning person, definitely be ready to work! He’s really big on mitt work and connecting with you one on one in sessions.I started boxing here exactly a year ago and although I am a coach here, these reviews are not biased by any means. If you come to Beautifully Savage, you need to be open minded, friendly and definitely motivated to WORK!!!
