If you’ve never been in a true dedicated weightlifting and bodybuilding gym, it can be intimidating. Walking into Prodigy I was immediately met with a warm welcome and no sales pressure at all.The gym and equipment availability exceeded what I expected. There is so much high quality equipment arranged in a way that flows and makes sense that you wonder why other gyms don’t follow suit. There’s dozens and dozens of pieces of heavy lifting equipment like at least 4-5 different t-bars, leg presses like you wouldn’t believe, an assortment of dumbells all the way to 200#, TRX straps, strongman areas (Highland Games?) cardio and so much more.Still as a beginner to novice lifter, I was comfortable at Prodigy and felt at home and can see how it could be my gym as far along in my strength training as I want all the way through competitive bodybuilding.

Gym made by a genius (Chris) Each muscle group has a designated area with all the associated machines. This makes super-setting really easy. I feel like Arnold, being able to easily super set leg extensions and the hack squat. All the unique bodybuilding machines make it worth it to upgrade from your $10 a month gym.

A rea l gym for those who are serious about their workouts and fitness. Cool vibe, no attitude. Members are respectful and rack their weights when finished. Locally owned and operated. Amazing amount of equipment.

Having had a previous membership at almost every other gym in Fort Collins, I can say without a doubt that Prodigy is the BEST GYM IN FORT COLLINS. If you’re interested in bodybuilding/powerlifting, or just getting in shape, Prodigy has the best and most diverse set of equipment you’ll find in any gym. The owner, Chris, is completely dedicated to keeping the gym in great shape and constantly bringing in new and better equipment. The gym’s vibe is very much centered around hard work and getting after it in your workouts. If you’re looking for a place to push yourself to the next level with the best equipment and people to support you, Prodigy is the place to be. I’ve loved every second of it.

Prodigy is full of equipment (literally) and has some of the best plate loaded machines there are to find in the state. Although there is a lot of equipment Prodigy is focused towards the body builder and weight lifters. The atmosphere and how packed the gym is, is the only reason why it isn’t a 5 star from me.

I LOVE this gym! I started my weight lifting journey here with a personal trainer, Alex (who was amazing). He taught me proper form and techniques. The personal training is definitely worth the money!!At first it can be a bit intimidating as a female in a predominantly male gym, but you start to realize that everyone is very friendly and willing to help. It will be hard to find a gym like this in my new town. Prodigy set my expectations pretty high for a gym. Very much recommend!

Great gym! It's a friendly, low-key environment and there are so many equipment options - I never really had to wait around for things to open up. My husband and I did personal training as a couple with Kenny and he was AMAZING. He really know his stuff - if anything hurt during the workout, he knew just what adjustment to make to take the pressure off and he makes movement and joint health a priority. Every element of working with Kenny was great: he is so positive and encouraging during personal training sessions, he provided us with clear and effective workouts to do on our own, and his diet plan was easy to follow and didn't leave me feeling like I was starving. It's great that Prodigy has an InBody scan too, because it was motivating to see that, even on weeks where I didn't lose much weight, I was still replacing fat with muscle. Personal training was absolutely worth the money!

Really great gym…I would recommend this gym for all as while serious lifters definitely workout here the atmosphere is really courteous and friendly. This gym has all the equipment you could ever need and definitely the knowledge from the trainers and the owner. Highly recommended.

I tried all the gyms when living in Fort Collins. A lot of gyms people were not there to work out but to hang out. Trainers were the same half your training is just talking about things besides the workout. When I was at Prodigy it was super easy to sign up, and extremely affordable. The gym was clean and other members also cleaned the equipment which is a major plus compared to other places. I took some training too and Chris was really great at showing me new techniques and exercises. It can be intimidating because there are a lot of really fit people that work out here but shouldn't you go to a gym where people look like what you aspire to?

This place is the real deal. My trainer Kenny has literally changed my body and life in just a few months, teaching me sooo much about nutrition, good form, mobility exercises, and how to use their wide selection of equipment.I’d recommend him or anyone there as the owner Chris was a professional body builder and had built both a great gym and an excellent team.
