This is THE spot in Northern CO. Hands down, you found it. I've been here about a year, and they're fricken stuck with me. I've never been welcomed into an ohana like the one that is born and bred on the mats of Trials MMA.There's only 1 thing better then a solid workout, and that's when there are amazing people to do it with. You will learn practical, sound principles, and train with people who will respectfully push you to be better than you were yesterday.Professors Steve and Nate have complimentary styles, and you get a solid approach to feel very well rounded grappling, and playing jiu jitsu.I've made a few lifelong friends, and greatly value the wide variety of experience and reasons people are there. You'll train with parents that got into it with their kids, accountants, bodybuilders, pro fighters, weekend warriors - everybody.

I'm very new to Jiu Jitsu or any kind of structured training only 2 weeks in but so far my experience here has been amazing. The instructors are great, the atmosphere is energetic and inviting. I would recommend anyone interested to give the week trial a go, it's a very generous amount of time to see if you like the gym. I can't wait to give the NoGi classes a go in addition to the Gi.

I would recommended Trials to anyone and everyone. They have a wide variety of classes for all levels of experience, ranging from fitness classes to fight team. This place is more than just a gym, it’s one big family. I am an Army veteran and when I first got out of the Army I had a really hard time with finding a sense of belonging. I found that tight knit community with Trials mma. The coaches are extremely intelligent and have a ton of experience. Some people (myself included) may feel awkward and lost when they first start at this type of gym, but the coaches there are very encouraging and willing to answer any questions and help someone who is new, any way they can.Awesome place with awesome people.

I have been training at Trials MMA for about 5 years now. The coaches are the best and bring out the best in you! They go above and beyond for you! It’s not only the coaches though it’s the whole gym, the person training next to you who is wanting you to improve just as much as you do. Everyone feels like family. It’s the place you want to go to after a long, hard day of work. It’s my comfort zone. At 40 years old, I never thought my body could attempt some of the things I’m doing but I’m doing 11 classes a week that include enduro kickboxing, woman’s grappling, jui jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, and grappling tech. I am in the best shape I have ever been physically and mentally! Trials MMA is truly the best!!

Can’t say enough about Trials MMA Gym and Ryan Schultz. The gym itself is awesome and oriented around family/team. They treat everyone equal no matter what skill level you are. Ryan Schultz their head coach gives off great energy with a positive outlook on everything. He’s one of those coaches you want to fight for. Always willing to learn and help at any time. So grateful to be able to train there and meet truly extraordinary people. Never once have I ever felt judged or left there in a bad mood. If you’re looking for a place to go train MMA, fitness, strength and conditioning for any age or gender, Trials is the place to go. Will continue to recommend them to everyone!

I have been training here for over a year now. Previously, I had never learned any MMA. This place is like family. Everyone pushes each other to become better in their sport and it’s awesome! Great community. All skill levels are always welcome and the professors are incredibly knowledgeable, as well as extremely helpful. I can’t imagine ever wanting to train anywhere else! Plus, this places produces some legitimate and dangerous fighters. If you take training or working out seriously but still want to have a fun time while doing it, then Trials is the gym for you!

My girls, Sheridan (6) and Odessa (5) have been participating in Little Champs and kid’s BJJ for close to 6 months now and I can honestly say the coaches and the entire culture at Trials has been life changing. My girls are more confident, getting stronger mentally and physically and have truly found a lifelong passion. They really look up to and love their coaches and I love getting to know all the other like minded parents that aren’t afraid to let their child lose, learn, grow and become a better person through humility and honor. This place is where it’s at!

I have associated and gained experience from many different sport clubs, but Trial Martial Arts has proven to be the best. The coaches here are outstanding and treat you like family. I instantly felt comfortable in the environment they've created.Yeah, they're like family, but that didn't stop them from kicking the ass! Pushing you to give it your all is what they do best. The coaches are very supporting and motivating so as members. I've never left without sweating a puddle. Overall, I absolutely love Trials MMA and everyone there who has helped me become determined to do my best, then ever before.
