CLUB 110 Health & Fitness Center, located on the ground floor of the 110 Tower in Fort Lauderdale, offers a clean, spacious environment for fitness enthusiasts. The gym excels in personal training, led by experienced trainers like Bill Kyser, who develop customized wellness programs and corporate training. This facility includes a variety of classes like spinning, yoga, and CrossFit, free with the membership fee. Military and health professionals can also enjoy discounts and no-contract memberships. However, some members report issues with outdated equipment and a lack of proper maintenance.

While the gym's atmosphere and staff receive high praise, complaints around equipment upkeep and gym etiquette detract from the overall experience. Evening and weekend hours could be inconvenient for some, but the gym's central location remains a strong selling point, especially for downtown residents and workers looking for a nearby workout spot.

Pros:

  • Experienced personal trainers.
  • Custom wellness and corporate programs.
  • No contract memberships.
  • Military and professional discounts.
  • Clean and spacious facility.
  • Free studio classes (spinning, yoga, CrossFit).
  • Friendly and helpful staff.
  • Convenient downtown location.
  • Free towel service.

Cons:

  • Outdated and poorly maintained equipment.
  • Management and operation issues.
  • Limited evening and weekend hours.

Awful gym. do not be fooled by the people who say it is good, they have no idea what they are talking about and have probably never been in a nice gym. the only reason i worked out there is because i interned very close to it during this summer. where to begin. the machines are all very old, the benches feel too narrow or unstable when lifting, theres maybe two collars (not pair, just 2) in the whole gym so you dont use them on anything, theres maybe 4 ten pound plates in the whole place, maybe 10% of the dumbells have labels, otherwise youre just guessing and hoping you grabbed the right weight. ive been a member of a youfit and i thought that was bad, but in retrospect this place made youfit look like a world class olympic training facility. it was enough to get some basic workouts done, but barely and for 50$ a month plus 150$ start up(which i talked my way out of) it is a total rip off.

I've been a member since they opened the downstairs location. It's a good gym but I do have a few issues. People don't re-rack their weights, it's annoying. Lot's people doing beach muscle workouts with out regard for proper gym etiquette but that's not really the gyms fault. I think they need more plate weights, 10 lb plates are especially hard to come by. They could also leave an Allen wrench near the dumbbells so they can be regularly tightened. Some heavier medicine balls would be appreciated, as would a few decent jump ropes. There are several positives though. They have very heavy DB's, up to at least 120 lbs, if not more, which is becoming rare at gyms. There is also an open area for plyo stuff which is nice. The heavy sandbags and 30in wooden box are a good addition too. Overall, I'm satisfied with the gym, the employees are friendly and I'm able to get my workout in with little downtime.

Nice, clean and convenient downtown location. Lots of space and just enough of the right equipment to get in shape. Has GREAT free, frequent studio classes like spinning, yoga and cross-fit included in monthly cost. Valentina is the best spinning instructor! I would recommend 110 Fitness for sure.
