It's definitely one of the best gyms in the area, and probably I've been to, at least for what I need to get a pump in. Well put together, cool layout, and designed dope. All the equipment was working and the place was clean.

Very good gym, pretty clean, good equipment. My issue was ending my membership after being member for almost 4 years. Went in person to close. Got receipt Thank God!. Gym then failed to cancel membership and kept charging me. My call with a female manager was the absolute worst and demeaning phone call with a customer service situation. Her obnoxious and boorish manner was totally unacceptable towards a customer. Thankfully, that receipt saved me and the gym finally reversed the charges even though the manager said that there was no chance the gym would refund me. I even contacted Powerhouse Corporate to advise of the incredibly poor customer, service. Just be careful when you end your membership.

We have been a member for over a year. In the beginning, all was great I wish I could say the same now. Equipment seats have tears on multiple machines made management aware no repairs broken mirror for over a month stereo system was out and replaced with with boom box that blasts over one area too loud. The water fountain's water flow is too low to get water. There should be a dedicated fountain to refill water bottles. Slow to replace inventory on bottled water there should be a dedicated fountain to refill the water bottles for purchase. The air conditioner was out twice last month. This is unacceptable from r the prices they are charging. Posting again. Came to gym it’s hot air Is at 76!!! Saw a friend who informed us he put his wallet and cc in a locked locker in the men’s locker room. While he was working out someone broke the lock and stole his cc. Place is more than going down hill. Owner and management WAKE UP. Members will leave

I like that it has new equipment, and that it's always clean. I wish they offered the towel service for free for the spa area. Machines for the most part are almost always available. Nice ambiance.

This gym is declining extremely fast. Machines have been broken for months, fabric on equipment is falling apart and the towel service is practically useless. When there are actually towels in it they fill it with towels not big enough for grown men and there’s never hand towels. There’s one water fountain that takes about three minutes to fill a bottle of water. And there’s no central music system. They just have two giant speakers as you walk in. The only thing I will give them is they keep it clean, which is nice. Atmosphere isn’t bad as you can tell people that join this gym really wanted something more refined but it kind of feels like everyone’s just trapped because of the contract. All of these problems are fixable and hopefully it does improve as I am stuck there for the next 14 months.

I recently joined Powerhouse Gym in Fort Lauderdale and I have to say, I'm impressed with their facility. My first impression was how clean and new-looking the gym is - they really take care of the place. There are many types of updated equipment to choose from. Also, the exfoliating scrub in the women’s locker room is invigorating!I decided to try out the group workout class. The instructor, Robbie, was knowledgeable and helped me get a great workout. What really stood out to me was the fantastic customer service I received from Kenji, who checked me in on my first day. He was welcoming and friendly, which made me feel comfortable right away. Thank you, Kenji!Overall, I highly recommend Powerhouse Gym in Fort Lauderdale for anyone looking for a great-looking and well-equipped gym and friendly staff.

I’ve been a member here since opening, it’s very troubling I’ve seen members have two heart attacks in the last two years while working out and there is absolutely NO DEFIBRILLATOR on the gym floor. Every other gym has them ready to use. LA Fitness has two every gym. People could have died because the owner is worried about his “aesthetic” look of the gym. Not acceptable.

I joined after reading reviews of a bad ac. I was assured it was fixed and it felt cool. But it was a rainy day and I did not work out. The reception is cold. After 5 days or so of working out it became obvious that it was hot and humid. After talking to several guys in the locker room each one attested to the AC being broken for as far back as 7 years and each one coincided with when they joined stating that it never worked. A complaint to the Department of Agriculture was useless. The gym did not even reply. WOW!They told me to complain to Code Enforcement and someone else beat me to it. One person also beat me to getting sick ending up in the ER with a stroke diagnosis. THe gym did apply a horrible solution. They installed humidifiers that shoot cold air with humidity keeping the place now at about 77 degrees and about 80% humidity. IT IS KNOWN AS BEING DANGEROUS TO WORK OUT LIKE THIS. AND MANY OF THE GUYS ON STEROIDS HAVE NO ID WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO THEIR HEART AS NO ONE ELSE DOES. Concerned, I again tried to see the new space we are told we are getting in September and the door was again locked. As I was leaving a construction crew came over and opened the door. They may have just finished the partitions, maybe some need to be installed; electrical work appears to just be starting; floors are not in place; drywall has not started; ac duct work was just starting. With 43 years experience in Construciton Management and from the looks of it and the slow progress, this will not be completed until sometime in the first to second quarter of 2027. Meantime our lying sales staff keeps telling everyone that we are moving in September of this year and that they saw the space themselves. Wow. We do not need a new gym but a new staff that is honest and can do a simple ac repair to our current space.
