This is the 3rd time I have had the need for Physical Therapy, this time it is for rehab after a SI fusion…The 1st time was for Total knee replacement, 2nd time Spinal fusion, both of the procedures were very painful, and physically therapy was not a “walk in the park”. The most important FACT after any surgical procedure is that physical therapy is recommended, and it is your CHOICE to choose where you want to go!I found Nathan Notter after being referred to HIM from a family member. I had given up on rehab after going to more than one in Fort Wayne! After the 1st Total Knee replacement (right side) I went to a rehab center in Fort Wayne that pushed me to hard and I still have pain with it! You should NEVER be pushed to do something that is causing pain! After the need for a 2nd Total Knee replacement (left side) I knew I would need physical therapy, (Knee replacements) have been one of the “hardest” procedures for me, my sister saw Nathan and put her faith in him, I gave him a chance, and what a totally difference experience it was going through Physically Therapy with Nathon for the left side!It seems like every part of my body is falling apart…The journey to find a therapist has been a difficult one for me, and in all honesty, until I found Nathan at the SW Sage Bluff location I didn’t think I would trust anyone! In fact I tried Steppin Up off DuPont and that did not go well, however, the owner reached out after the terrible experience and made it right. I was willing to “try” the SW location and am happy I did!I FINALLY found a therapist that I can trust! Even though I live Northwest, the drive SW is worth it! Nathan knows what he is doing, and is great at it! He has a great personality (which is a plus), more important is that he makes sure you are in the correct position with the movements before moving on. Others I had been to simply “read” the exercise from the sheet said do 10 and walked away, this happened time after time! I’m sure for them it is repetitive, however for those of us going through it is important that each of us is treated with respect and given their full attention.I have finally found a Physical Therapist that I can trust at Steppin Up Sw Sage Bluff! I can say that after watching others the entire staff at this location seems to be great! In all honesty, this is the only location that I can personally recommend, and again “Nathan Notter” is the only therapist I can/will totally put my trust in to get you through the recovery phase after any procedure! Thank you again Mr Notter!

From day 1 the staff at Sage bluff have gone above and beyond to not only make me feel welcomed. But have done a great job keeping me informed on what to expect each and every day. They are more than Physical therapy to me. They are family. I’d recommend them to anyone.

I was signed up for Physical Therapy through the VA and they outsourced me to this group for help. I started physical therapy to treat pain I was having in my shoulders and knees from years of military/law enforcement duty. The Staff is friendly and very patient when explaining the different exercises and stretches. Honestly, they make you feel like a member of a family. They take time each week to see how you are feeling. They pushed me each week and my knees and shoulders improved greatly. I highly recommend this Group for any Physical Therapy needs.

I worked with both Allie and Ashlie and had a wonderful experience. Through advice and an exercise plan they managed to help me regain my strength and flexibility after having lower back fusion surgery. I would recommend them to anyone needing therapy.

I love steppin up! I came in skeptical because I have had a bad experience with physical therapy before. I should not have been worried! The care I have received here has been absolutely wonderful. Devon and the others I have worked with have been so wonderful. I felt heard, safe, and well taken care of. They are knowledgeable and amazing. I have improved so much in the time I have been coming here. I recommend them to anyone I can! There is no other physical therapy experience like they have here. Thank you steppin up for helping me achieve a greater quality of life!

My therapist, Ashley Rager, was incredible. Pelvic floor therapy can feel so embarrassing and evasive. Ashley not only makes you feel comfortable but really listens to your issues. She is so knowledgeable and has given me so many tools to use to help with my pain and my healing. I was actually sad that it was my last appointment today. I will miss our time together. I will have to have more therapy in a few months and I will ONLY see Ashley. I’ve told so many about her. She made what could have been such an awkward experience, comforting instead. I wouldn’t hesitate to send anyone into her care. I feel like she cared just as much as I did for every mile stone and every set back. I simply can not say enough good things about her. A+

The experience here at stepping up therapy has been a great experience. Came here for my pelvic floor, back pain and shoulder stiffness. I love the therapists and the hospitality and they are on point when it comes down to the pain. I would surely give them a thumbs up and recommend them to everyone that needs physical therapy.

The team are all very friendly and professional. Devin went out of his way to make sure I got benefits from my therapy and changed the exercises to make sure it was helping me. I had an issue with a device not working correctly and the director of the facility jumped in to assist in making sure I was comfortable, The team are always cheerful and happy. It was a great experience.

After injuring my S.I. Joint and going to the chiropractor with no relief, the hospital referred me for physical therapy. After researching different places, I decided on this location of Steppin' Up Physical Therapy and I'm SO glad I did! Nathan saw right away what the issue was and FIXED it that day! During follow-up appointments, he showed me what I can do at home to continue strengthening and hopefully keep it from happening again. I am so grateful for Nathan and his staff. He's the best!!! I'm incredibly grateful for the relief and help he has given me. THANK YOU!!!

All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful.Charis was the therapist I saw the most, and she will make you sweat, laugh, and maybe be a little stiff or sore the next day but you won't regret any of it! Keeping me moving so I can enjoy the grandkids!
