City Sports Club at 39153 Farwell Dr, Fremont, CA 94538, offers a range of fitness equipment and amenities. Located in the Mowry East Shopping Center, the club provides a decent variety of gym gear, although some patrons feel there’s a need for more low row machines. Club is really good.. I usually workout in morning and there is this dude who always hogs machines.. ( he is not using it at the moment and is using another machine but blocks this machine as he will use it later. I find it so annoying. I told the person at desk to tell the guy that he can’t do that.. as others need to use it and we don’t have all day to spend at Gym..they didn’t not they’ll anything to th guy! So disappointed

Nice. welcoming. affordable. Not an extensive offering of group classes or many time slots/days as options but good for a person of my frequency (aiming for 2-3 group classes a week)

Newer equipment than the other gyms in the area. Warmer pool and better jacuzzi. Music is not as loud as in a 24hr fitness.

I have been coming to the gym from almost 4 years. I don’t know what happened recently too the the staff. Today i was using personal training area. FYI- you can use it if the trainers are not training any candidates or there are hours displayed. I don’t like troubling anyone so i try to use when i can after training hours. alas today, one member of the staff when i was using it came to me and told me to go somewhere else which is absolutely fine I didn’t mind but his tone was way beyond rude. He was behaving like a jerk. You can be a little polite i am not gonna run away with your machines bruh. anyways will explore more options now.

Good assortment of equipment but gonna knock this place down some stars for the fact that no one at this gym puts away their weights properly. Go to any other city sports and you'll see the weights properly racked. In this location, no one cares and puts away 100s where the 5s are, the 40s where the 20s are. It's frustrating having to search for a matching set and it's symptomatic of the fact that the staff does not enforce basic gym etiquette. Some dude had the gall to be offended that I was about to take one of his barbells when he was curling directly in front of the rack. You can't claim all 8 barbells to yourself and then NOT use it the entire time . Smh.

Pretty skanky city sport... women's sauna is usually dirty. The pool people trail in a ton of water into the bathroom so be mindful of not to slip. You can see all the mud and grime build up from people walking in the water in their shoes. There is always a broken machine. Staff is hit or a miss. A handful of the trainers... look questionable.....

I got my membership a little more then a year ago. I let my personal trainer know all my health issues. Unfortunately the program he had me do on my first day took a toll on me and have had a flare ever since. Slowly trying to get back at it but unfortunately haven’t been able to use my membership. I was bummed to see they offer swimming classes and pool is not always available. Wish the lockers and restrooms were more cleaner. Looking forward to going back soon.

I really enjoyed coming to the gym at 10 pm every night to get a quick workout in but now the staff feels the need to use the intercom every so often to remind us all of closing time. Like duh gym closes at 11. Only regulars show up at this time. Let me workout without any stress. I can’t concentrate on my workout with the constant reminder. (This is the best time that works for me unfortunately, I try my best to go earlier)
