As a gym, great. Good staff and equipment. Great patrons. However, the fact that I can't cancel my 2 year plan 3 months in at all, is ridiculous. It screams underhanded. The website even has a small information bubble on the cancellation time of 3 days saying "you can cancel upto this date without a cancellation fee" implying that afterwards there is an option with a fee.THERE IS NOT!You can't cancel. You just have to keep paying. You don't have time like you hoped? Too bad, you will pay for 48 months. Moving? If there is an anytime fitness within 25 miles of your new home, no cancellation for you. You literally need to die, get a doctor's note or move far enough away from anytime in order to stop paying them. This is very underhanded. When I went to cancel in person, the rep told me that he didn't like it either and that I should look over the contract on the website for loopholes so I could get out. He even suggested that I try to trade for my freedom by offering the owner tos flyers for their gym on a property I manage.Seriously. This is an all in commitment. Once you make that first payment, they will get all the rest, regardless of how your life changes over the next 24-48 months.I owe them $875 that I can't get back, paid out in $17 increments every 2 weeks. Yet I can't go while I work 2 jobs 7 days a week.

Great facility at an excellent price. It's accessible to members 24/7. You can also access other Anytime Fitness facilities around the country. I travel frequently for work, so this is a great feature. The staff are extremely friendly and always ready to help the members. They are also cleaning the facility constantly. There are some complaints on here about the small space or the building being worn. It's definitely a gym, not a day spa, and that's reflected in the reasonable price. If you want a gym for people who are there to exercise in a clean friendly environment then this is your place. The location next to Publix is very convenient.

I’ve been going to this AF for a bit over a year and this review is well overdue! Lisa and Joseph are incredibly friendly, professional and always approachable. Their staff is also incredibly friendly and easy to talk with. The facility is clean and not lacking of any equipment for weights, cardio and everything in-between. All the members are friendly and seem very happy to be at this gym. I rarely see anyone not smiling! I would recommend this gym to anyone passing through or in the Gainesville area who wants a home gym! Thanks everyone for the phenomenal gym, equipment and atmosphere!

Love this gym, it just feels like home! Let me just say though, I absolutely love my trainer Jill, she pushes me and motivates even when I have no motivation. Caring to your needs, wants, and concerns. She always has a pleasant smile on her face that glows through her eyes, even with so much going on in this crazy world her attitude and positivity are admirable. Would highly recommend her as a trainer to anyone.

Here’s what I love:You can come literally anytime at all(and that’s probably why it’s never overcrowded.)You can always get your workout in(without having to wait for someone hogging a bench for 30 full minutes 🙄when your 12 reps would only take 60 seconds -which happens a lot at other places).Awesome that you can work out at any AF gym while traveling-which I do often-(total game changer).Very affordable rates! Billed 2x month. I checked other places-this one is the best, especially with the nationwide gym access!Only $5 to bring a friend or relative with you.Awesome & helpful staff!See my pics? I started with a trainer and learned about nutrition, not just exercise. This was the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I think the results are fantastic.Do it. Don’t put it off like I did and jeopardize your health (like I did).Hit this gym, Anytime!

A small respectable anytime fitness. Loved the little private yoga room! Wasn't sure where to keep my gym bag.

My husband and I signed up prior to covid19 being a thing. We signed up separately, due to it being really hard to do it together.I wish I'd have bitten the bullet and purchased new gym equipment for the house. My husband has a medical condition that leaves his immune system weak, so getting covid would do a number on him. This means that gyms are out. We were told that we might be able to get out of the 2 year contract with a doctors note, and they would, as a courtesy, freeze our accounts until then. Nice! Totally great, exactly what I was expecting.I was not expecting to be charged for things I didn't ask for/purchase while my account was in frozen status. (Tried to follow up with them about it, still haven't heard back.)That isn't as bad as not being allowed to leave because the doctors note, provided by my husband's doctor, was not legitimate enough to warrant cancelation, as they are approved on a case by case basis, and our case just wasn't important enough. We haven't used the facility due to concerns (they don't enforce masks, nor sanitizing equipment, instead relying on a system akin to passive aggressive post-it notes). We're stuck riding it out for now until we can be free of this.If you're able bodied and straight, this place might treat you with respect and dignity, and it might even be worth your money.
