LA Fitness in Grand Prairie, TX, offers a variety of amenities in a spacious two-story facility. It provides a range of workout equipment, including weights and squash racks, although the diversity and availability of some weights can be limited. The hours are convenient for early risers and late-night workout enthusiasts, with extended hours on weekdays and weekends. However, customer reviews consistently highlight significant cleanliness issues, particularly in locker rooms and pool areas.
While many users appreciate the gym's environment and amenities, there's notable dissatisfaction regarding maintenance and management. The WiFi service and cellular reception within the gym are also problematic, which can be a concern for those who rely on connectivity during workouts. The gym is good for what it is. It is a nice little area with plenty of amenities but not too many workout machines.

Please put in shelving or hooks so that we don't have to take our devices into the sauna!

Sales employee (Domonique Scott) continues to harass me about working for the company. When I decline over and over again he then proceeds the interrogate me about the ONE PERSON I’m bringing in. I currently pay for buddy pass so he should not be bothering me about who I bring in.Location = 2803 West Interstate Highway 20 Grand Prairie TX 75052

Decent gym, has all the fittings of a classic 2 story LA Fitness. However, they have some outdated equipment and limited amounts of certain weights (eg: only 2-3 10lb, 15lb, 20lb dumbells and it’s hectic to find the right weight whenever there’s a lot of people at the gym). Some of the equipment ergonomics feels like it fits best for a bigger person (leg press arm handles feel lower while weight stops feel higher, laying hamstring curl setting only reduce up to a certain amount so legs need to be longer, etc) There’s only 2 squat racks. The gym is clean. They’ve cut back on basket ball hours because of an incident. Back when they did have WiFi, the back part of the gym (where the dumbbells were) had laggy wifi and it would gradually get better the closer to the entrance of the gym you would get. Now, their WiFi hasn’t been working for over a month and even cellular service is laggy here! Also the gym would feel hot.

THIS LOCATION IS GETTING SO BADit’s so, so, so dirty and nasty. The men’s locker room is so bad. The showers are disgusting with mold. The men’s sauna just feels so funky to sit in. Like how is the air even dirty?Management sucks here.Maybe if the manager wasn’t so worried about going live on instagram and what ever other live streaming service he’s always on, and actually put that effort into managing this la fitness location it would be better. The one by six flags is so much better. And clean. They will hire literally anyone at the GP location.

I always go to a Irving location and they’re super nice friendly and everything nice and clean this time. I went to this one to try it. They are nasty water. The pool and the Jacuzzi they are super dirty. It’s like they never clean at four months. I don’t think I will come back there.

Cleanliness at this location is going worse and worse. Specially men locker/restrooms. Paper towel not refilled, sopa and bathroom tissue. And stinks every single day. Not good!!! Used to be very clean when I signed up...

I've been a member for many years at this location and others. This one is closer to my home so I frequent mostly on the weekends. Sad that the maintenance is below average considering there are staff just walking around. Overall cleaning and paper towel holders are overlooked on a CONSTANT basis. I'm always asking the staff to supply the ones upstairs near the cardio equipment. Come on dudes. The gym should never run out of paper towels which motivates the user to clean the machine before and especially AFTER they have sweated all over it. Gross. And the trash cans in the women's locker room are not regularly emptied along with floor cleaning. I don't understand why they went through all of those renovations to help it's "appearance" but no one to manage overall cleanliness and gym HEALTH. Who is the Operations manager now? He or she should consider another line of work since when they are not on-site, the staff does not have enough discipline to understand what to do. Hence monitor and see what needs to be done instead of wait around for new clients to walk in the front door. Total waste of staff salary.
