I value the relationships the coaches and staff have built with my children. There is one thing to place your child in a sport but to watch your child genuinely enjoy their team and coaches brings a much deeper level of appreciation for this gym. I recommend every available opportunity with Liberty.

Very unorganized… We were at Liberty from June 2021 to January 2023. While there we were on the show team and enrolled in tumbling progression classes. The first year was alright because I was just trying to see if my daughter liked cheer. The second year was terrible. Nobody ever had answers to any questions the little girls kept being forgot about. We didn’t have a full team practice until December. The teams were formed in June. The owners don’t seem to care about any issues presented. They keep saying we will have a meeting about the issue but the meetings never happen. Almost half the show team quit midseason due to owners actions. POC definitely should look at other options. You can verify this by watching the videos from the first competition on January 15, 2023 to the second competition on January 21, 2023 where they replaced the main girl in the group with some one two teams ahead. That’s cheating and clearly Liberty isn’t above cheating. The girl was too old to perform with the show team but she performed not only with the show team but also the novice team. They are more concerned about money than actually teaching the girls new skills. After two years on the show team, gymnastics and progression tumbling one girl had to go to another gym to learn a cartwheel. My daughter after 2 years at liberty we went to another gym. We left liberty in January we are now in May. My daughter only had a cartwheel she taught herself. Being at the new gym she has her cartwheel, back/front roll, round off, back/front walkover, back/front walkover switch leg and is working on her back handspring now. That’s almost a 4 month difference with great progression that she didn’t get with 2 years at liberty. There is sooo much more I can say but if you are serious about cheer and want to make sure your kids get a great level of training find another gym. People are leaving this gym left and right. Especially if you are a POC this is NOT the gym for you!

My daughters cheered there from ages 4 & 5 until they graduated high school. They are now winning cheer coaches. The coaches at this gym truly care about their athletes.

Liberty cheer was the most amazing experience for my daughter. We moved backed to Midlothian where my kids didn’t know anyone. My daughter started at liberty and had the best 5 years with them. She learned discipline, team work, grit, determination, and the drive for excellence (which has gone by the wayside these days). But she had so much fun and made so many friends in the process! I’m forever thankful for the positive transition liberty cheer made on our family. Best coaches and parents! We have made forever friends through Liberty! We ❤️Liberty Cheer!

After coaching and doing competitive cheerleading myself for 15+ years and being apart of many programs, I knew exactly where my daughter was going when she asked to start cheer! Liberty is more than a gym, it is a family. The coaches and owners are passionate about the sport and pour cheer AND life skills into each kid they coach! The same is to be said for the gymnastics program.

We been part of the Liberty Cheer family for 13 years. I’m very proud of our inclusive program for athletes with special needs. All 3 of my girls cheer there, and now my grandson is there. He loves the Ninja program. This gym is all about the kids. They are invested in growing not just athletes, but leaders in our community. They foster a friendly, family-oriented environment. I can’t say enough good things about them!

I just recently came back to liberty after having to leave due to school and when I say I have missed this gym. I have been coaching in both the cheer and gymnastics industry for 15 years. I have coaches elite level gymnast and all star cheer. Liberty has a great way of promoting positivity, growth, and respectful athletes. The coaches encourage all their athletes to grow and advance. If there is one thing I can say is that liberty is all about their athletes. They are great with communication and understanding. This gym is a family and I couldn’t be any happier here. I just can’t wait for my one year older to become of age so she can join the liberty family and classes.
