The Greater Green Bay YMCA - Ferguson Family Y is located at 235 N Jefferson St, Green Bay, WI. This youth organization offers a historical and charming facility equipped with modern fitness amenities. The place is suitable for both kids and adults, featuring two pools and a notable steam room. The staff is generally friendly and the gym is well-maintained. However, the pool hours and parking fees may be issues for some members.
While many appreciate the facility’s charm and updated layout, some feel the welcoming atmosphere has diminished recently. The unisex steam room and the sale of the parking lot have also been points of contention. Despite this, it remains a popular destination for fitness enthusiasts in Green Bay.

Wonderful place and old world atmosphere. Lots of history and charm. Very much in character of the Y! - miss that at the newer Y building. Staff is kind. Very personal experience. Could use a third railing in the middle going down the curved staircase outside the building.

Hand down great facility BUT they sold the parking lot to associated bank so now you have to pay to park if you want to go there. I can't imagine this was a good idea for the longevity of the YMCA but who knows.

Downtown Y has a compact, efficient layout, is well-equipped, clean and fully up-to-date. The building is beautiful and historical. The men's locker room is carefully designed and the steam room is a gem. The hours are a bit limited but they have recently expanded and they currently fit nicely into my schedule. Definitely a 5 star facility in my opinion.

I am so disappointed in the YMCA in downtown Green Bay! I don’t know if all YMCA’s in Green Bay are selling “pride shirts” for $20 for “pride month” but the downtown Ferguson has these shirts hanging up on hangers as you enter the building. Silly, silly me all these years I was under the impression that YMCA stood for Young mens CHRISTIAN association. Never, thought that a Christian organization would promote something that God considers an abomination! Shame on you Ferguson YMCA!!

Pool is open only certain amount of time, why do I have to pay for it so much , most people go to ymca just because of the pool . They said because they don’t have a lifeguard 😂😂😂May be u guys should lower the price for a membership, I miss this place how it used to be 6 years ago, the same stuff always, same faces who greeted us warm. pool hours were amazing, after exercising men could go to their steam room in a locker room . Now the steam room is unisex, hours for the pool are overwhelming, the staff changes every other month. And it doesn’t feel the same welcome like it used to be . I think after that renovations they are trying to compensate their expenses. Obviously there are a lot members thinks the same way. I decided to cancel a membership, I hope everyone will do the same , may be they will give them a lesson how to treat members who pays to enjoy facility and not to go and waste a time and be disappointed

Everyone there is really nice, my kids love it there. The two pools are awesome, they like that they can use the flippers. I like this one the best because of the steam room and it’s pretty clean. Big locker room. Best Y in Green Bay.

Super friendly staff. Really nice fitness equipment. They have basically everything you need to have to get a great workout in. This is the only ymca location in Green Bay with a steam room. Since the remodel I would go so far as to say that this is Green Bay's nicest ymca.
