Blake Fitness Center, located at Keesler Air Force Base, offers a range of fitness equipment and amenities. The gym staff receives consistent praise for their friendliness and helpfulness. Aerobic machines are plentiful, and the facility includes a sauna. However, many visitors mention that the weight room is small and often crowded, particularly during peak hours.
The equipment is functional but outdated, with some machines marked for repair for months. If you prefer a less crowded workout, it's best to visit during non-peak times. Overall, Blake Fitness Center suits general fitness needs but falls short for serious weightlifters.

Definitely no where close to home nice the gym was at Nellis but it's all that's available to prior service.

Pretty beaten up and old equipment. It’s a military gym so what else can you expect.

One positive is the staff is really nice here.. But if you like to lift weights like I do, I’d highly recommend you try another gym. The weight room is tiny and if there’s a decent amount of people there you’re kinda screwed. Probably the worse weight room I’ve been to being in the military.

It’s not a bad gym, if you go at the non-busy times. The staff are really friendly and always around. It’s just the equipment, it’s old and outdated and you can tell they just don’t allocate enough funding to the fitness health of the …

Good gym. Clean restrooms and locker rooms. Has all the equipment that you need to get a good workout in. Everything is easy to find as well.

I like the staff here, the equipment, and variety of amenities available. It's just a shame there isn't more equipment. At peak times every machine can easily be in use in the weight room. There are plenty of aerobic machines and options. Also it has a sauna which is always nice.

Fairly small gym compared with other bases but has everything you would expect. Marked down one star due to a civilian staff asking me to dry the pad after spinning class. Non-sense…

It's a good gym but when it gets busy it's kind of pointless to go, especially if you're only looking to do short work outs. I usually try to go when it opens or around 12 because it isn't so busy. But after 3 it gets incredibly busy and …

Very middle of the road compared to other military gyms. Has a decent selection of weights/strength equipment, but some has been broken and “marked for repair” for months. Cable machines have welds that are about to come apart. Gets very …
