My wife and I moved to town a few weeks ago and were looking for a new gym with group classes that we could do together. Portside has been a perfect fit for us. The varying workouts every day have kept things interesting and the group dynamic has been amazing. Don't be nervous if you're considering this gym. It is a truly welcoming place. You won't regret it!

Great place. Coaches are good at what they do and very knowledgable. They make it their goal to get you where you want to go, fitness and/or nutrition. When the world went into lockdown, their classes went online. It’s interesting working out with a group from the comfort of my home. If you have any reservations about joining a gym, give them a chance. Sit down and talk with sara or melinda, they work hard to provide the support you need to be a better you.

I have been lifting weights for 25 plus years, joined many gyms and have not been treated like I have here at Portside Fitness. Staff is helpful and members are friendly. In my years of joining gyms, no one has taken the time to show me anything, except where the locker room is….Vernon is a excellent trainer and breaks it down so you understand how each move is performed. I felt confident going thru my first workout with coach Allison who demonstrated each movement before each section. I really enjoyed the workout and thankful for Allison's encouragement. I'll be back!

Great coach! Steven takes us through the workout step by step so even beginners can do the class. He even took time at the end of the workout to help with my questions on correct form. I look forward to his classes.

Ashleigh did amazing today. She went over every movement in detail to make sure we understood the proper form. Pushed and encouraged us during the strength and work out. Even counted my last 10 deadlifts so I wouldn’t put the bar down. And did the same for others in the class. She truly loves what she does and it shows!

I was looking for someone/something to help me on a weight loss journey. I was feeling so fat and miserable 😢I thought I was trying to solve a weight/fat issue but in reality I learned it was so much deeper than losing the weight!! It was changing my mindset, teaching my brain to talk to myself differently in a positive way instead of mentally beating myself up with negativity!! Practicing self talk, learning to dig deep within myself and figure out why I made the choices I make!!Portside opened up a new world of positivity and support for me. Portside helped with educating me on ways to break the cycle of negative self talk and how to make healthier choices for my lifestyle. And Portside made me fall in Love!!! In love with working out and making my workouts a priority!!!My life has gone through some changes this year with a death in the family, the death of a friend and having to move to a news location and help take care of a family member!!! I know in my heart I would not have emotionally or physically have been able to really thrive this past year without Portside having my back!!! I'm stronger than I have ever been both physically and emotionally!!!
