Nice, small, climbing gym. Would be 4 or 5 stars but they don’t have a water fountain.

Great spot, but it only has bouldering, and it’s a bit on the smaller side. Probably not the best for complete beginners, I wish I had known that before I went with a bunch of my friends who had never climbed before

Worst climbing gym in the LA area. Staff is exceptionally rude and made us watch a ten minute video instead of an orientation. The place smells horrible (either of gym socks or the food the staff bring in to eat), the bathrooms and changing areas are tiny, climbing areas are small and poorly maintained. Also they don't even have a water fountain. I've never been to a gym without a water fountain, such a joke. Go anywhere else.

The gym setters are talented, they take their time creating some quality routes. This gym is somewhat old-school in it's vibe. Only half of the bouldering can be topped out. This is a small, but MIGHTY gym! Highly recommend!

This is a fun place to go and get some serious exercise..You will get some skills and learn you can do more than you expected...The Girl Friend has a membership she loves it, my son and I just tag along and wow its so fun to watch him learn.. fun for the whole family.. and the boldering is so fun..Another great day climbing...There was a major rain event and apparently this was the place to be..Always room to climb..

Not the best time when I went because 1/3 of the gym was in construction. It’s extremely noisy and loud. I don’t find it pleasurable to climb in this environment. However, this location does look like a good gym if there were no construction. There were not many people when I was there. They have this cool lighting wall in the last photo too! I’m not sure how it works but it looks fun. My home gym didn’t have this.Parking lot is spacious but shared with other businesses. The gym itself is spacious compared to some other Hangar 18. Shoes keeper at the entrance was very helpful. Staff was nice.

Does it look like a climbing gym, smell like a climbing gym, and sound like a climbing gym? It sure does! Despite how compact the place is, there's a bunch of routes. Bouldering, lead climbing, top roping, and auto belay: they've got it all. Great sets and good vibes await. Plenty of parking is always a plus.

Great atmosphere. New courses every month. Great pricing and clean space. Mornings are Empty and clean. As time passes the crowds come in and out and the place does get messy with chalk but that’s expected. By the next day it’s clean.

Rock climbing gym with bouldering and auto-belay available. There are Groupons available for classes, otherwise, it’s $20 for a day pass plus $3 rental for climbing shoes. If you do auto-belay, it’s an additional $3 for the harness. Cash and credit cards accepted. There are cubbies around the permitter as well as in the restrooms (located in the back) for you to place your belongings. There are larger day use lockers in the restrooms as well. There’s a wide array of routes for bouldering that they do change up. They have a pull up bar and free weights available as well. Masks are required while climbing. Free parking is available in their lot. It’s family friendly and I did see quite a few younger children. The staff is standoffish as other reviews have noted.

This gym has definitely improved over the last three years. It continues to provide challenging and creative routes at a competitive monthly price. Also nice that there's no initiation fee or charge for freezing your membership. They also have tons of locations so you'll never run out of problems. I recommend checking out the long beach location as well.
