Gold's Gym Wendover

Please do better helping customers who try to CANCEL their membership. Don’t just leave them there and try to ignore the situation. Otherwise, the manager is great and really helpful. But the staff need to be more helpful

I got a call yesterday that there is an issue processing my payment with Gold’s Gym this month. I walked in and said I wanted to resolve the issue and make the payment. The woman at the front desk was processing my payment but I also told her I wanted to cancel my membership. She said okay, gave me my card back and put a paper on the desk in front of me without saying anything and then started texting while I’m standing there confused. I asked what the paper is, she said “well don’t you see on top it says cancellation? Fill it out!” and she started texting again. I asked her if she could put the phone down and talk to me about it and she said “I don’t have time for this s#*t!” I asked to speak to a manager and she said no one is there. When I asked for the phone number of a manager or another associate to talk to, she refused to talk to me anymore. I stood there for about 45 mins and she was on the phone seemingly angry and crying with her boyfriend and then just texting the whole time and refusing to talk to me while I was still waiting. Another customer even came to ask her something and she ignored them too.I will be taking this matter higher and speaking to manager and whoever else I need to.

Insane amount of equipment here. 5 bench presses and endless arm and leg machines. Very well equipped gym for the price. And they have there own little supplement shop. Glad to find a gym thats not filled with treadmills. It is a little dirty though.

Gyms cool most of the staffs cool, tried taking my girl to try out the gym and when I get there I get charged for a day’s pass, come back to see some chicks letting the guys go in for free. This was last time I went couple months ago.

Great gym, great environment, classic equipment. The gym just isnt the same without the pool, sauna, steam room, and hot tub. Hopefully they re-open the amenities. I also miss it being 24 hrs. The only reason its not 5 stars.

Clean, affordable, and usually not too terribly busy but has an annoying lack of equipment like extra barbells and benches. ONE power rack for the entire gym and one free squat rack. The rest is all smith machines. You'll sometimes wait 20+ minutes just to get on the only deadlift platform. Also not the biggest deal but zero 35 lb plates and no one puts their plates away here.

Our go-to gym. It is great for people who like powerlifting training. They have a lot of free weights. 2 squat rack and 2 Smith machine for all your compound movement needs. Never tried any fitness classes, but they seem great.

The equipment are totally worn out. They don’t have 35lbs discs, which is weird. At least these things you can adjust. But, the bathrooms are in another level. Disgusting, dirty and stinks. I signed up for this gym 5 days ago. I’m already thinking of canceling.

Been a member since Jan 2023 Love it here! Gym is clean, lots of equipment, staff and instructors are super friendly and lots of classes to choose from. So glad I joined!

Haven't been here in 2.5 years TBH, but lot's of nostalgia. I was here when Gold's was know as The Rush as well. It's a good gym with everything you need. I have encountered just a few rude members over the years, but we ended up being friends somehow lol, after a short but non violent confrontation. The staff is plenty nice. They can be in a bad mood sometimes, but so are all of us. We're here to scan our keycard, check in promptly, and workout. Not have a therapy session lol. If you need an energy drink, protein shake, RTD, etc then they will gladly provide it to you. I swear, some people expect to be treated like Kings/Queens Everywhere they go lol. We are all ticking time bombs, don't let the petty things get you down. The equipment is everything you need. My only complaint was, there wasn't enough squat racks. Not sure if that has changed, but the wait can be easily 20 mins before one becomes available. All else aside, 5 stars.
