Nathan has been my in-home trainer for about 10 months. He created a workout routine just for me to achieve my goals. As a 65 year old man with health issues, Nathan has helped me keep active and strong while being cognizant of my specific needs. And he is always friendly and personable, which makes me look forward to our multi week workouts. I strongly recommend him if you are looking for an in home trainer.

Nathan has come to our home twice weekly to give us training. He is very good at adjusting his methods to our personal needs. He’s helped with an excellent diet program and has tested our improvement monthly. He supplies us with training equipment or helps us get what we need. He has a good sense of humor and our cat loves him. He’s been very trustworthy.

Earlier this year I found myself at a health crossroad. My blood pressure had been higher than normal for over a year. I was already on medication which in the past had worked well to keep the readings normal. My doctor suggested additional medication. I did not want to go that route, so I asked her if I could try exercise to bring it down naturally. She agreed.That’s when I signed up with Nathan at Practical Fitness. In our initial meeting, he asked me to establish my goals. I had 3: 1) bring my blood pressure down so that I wouldn’t need additional meds, 2) become stronger in order keep up with my very active grandchildren, and 3) lose 5-10 pounds.With Nathan’s extremely knowledgeable coaching, personalized exercise program, and diet recommendations, I am thrilled to say after only 3 months my blood pressure is now 120/84–almost perfect! My doctor is thrilled! I am stronger and more confident in my balance and my ability to keep up with the kiddos. And I lost a few pounds. On top of all these benefits, inches of fat have turned into muscle!Although Nathan offers in-home coaching and instruction, my personalized program was built and executed with no in-person interaction. This was especially attractive to me during a year of a global pandemic. All of our meetings were held via phone and video calls. Using his software, I was able to exercise at my preferred time, which often varied from workout to workout.Nathan, your program has boosted my overall health, confidence, strength, and energy level. I’m really glad I made the investment in myself and my future. Thank you for being there for me!

Nathan is a top notch trainer. He’s well versed in the anatomy and mechanics of a well tailored program for each different person with whom he’s working. He listens to concerns and limitations and adapts the program appropriately while still encouraging the individual to “go a little further”. He’s flexible in his scheduling.
