CFCR is GREAT! The coaches rock! You would not get judged or intimidated here because everybody is super friendly and willing to help. The coaches are very knowledgeable, they always emphasize quality over quantity and pay attention to the athletes during the work outs. The mindset is all about getting better everyday. The owner always asks for feedback to improve the classes, training, facilities and continuously improves the gym.Come on over, you're gonna love it!

This is a great gym to workout at. All the people are very friendly and cheer everyone on. Coaches take the time to teach the movements.

Best box in Hillsboro! Coaches Jake, Rudy, and Row are very knowledgeable and supportive to those new to Crossfit , or picking it back up after a long hiatus! Would recommend to anyone who lives/works near the area and want to make a change in their life. I look forward to getting better, faster, and stronger. Making new friends already!

I joined CrossFit Code Red on 14th January 2014 with another Irish friend of mine. What can I say other than CrossFit is addictive, I leave each class on a little high having achieved yet another milestone in my workout regime. Before I started Crossfit I couldn't run, do squats, handstand push ups, didn't know what a pull-up was and best not to mention how I wouldn't have dared to lift any bar that weighed more than 25 pounds. Four months later after a lot of pain there has been so much gain, I squat better than ever, I know what a pull-up is and hey i can do a few too, my latest dead lift was 135 pounds, yes you read that right 135 pounds! I could go on and on about the great milestones I have achieved. However, ultimately my greatest achievement has been the strengthening of my knees through the arduous but capable daily WODs. After several knee surgeries over the years I really had given up the thought of being able to run again and I am thrilled to say that over the weekend I took to the road by myself for my first official three mile run, a huge personal gain for me.Sadly for me CrossFit Code Red has to come to an end as I return to Ireland but I just want to say thanks to Jake owner of CrossFit Code Red a truly amazing coach and motivator and of course to all the regulars at the daily 9am class, many whom have become good friends. You will be missed but not forgotten and I will look forward to hitting the great Irish roads with stronger knees for my soon to be ritual daily run!Mary Bodley a stronger and fitter individual after my CrossFit Code Red experience

I've been with CodeRed for about 3 months now and it's been an amazing experience. I've never been big into lifting because I really didn't know how to attempt them. At CodeRed the coaches have been great and have taught me so much about technique and form. We track all our workouts and it's amazing to look back to when I first started and see the progress. I feel stronger and can actually last through an hour workout now! Also, the people who work-out there are all very supportive and encouraging. They are always up for giving me pointers during workouts. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for something new in their routine, beginner or not.

I can't say enough about Crossfit Code Red!! I always had belonged to a 24 hour fitness & ran. Always kept in shape. The classes at 24 became so repetitive...& I really wasn't seeing any change in my body...things got boring!!I saw a Groupon for Code Red so I thought why not give it a try...plus I went to high school with the owner so what do I have to lose, right?!Obsessed! The workouts are so varied you are always working a different muscle! Yes, it is HARD...some days I am like "how am I going to get through this!" The changes you will feel & see make it all worth while!!I have met some amazing people at the gym that I can now call friends!! Everyone is encouraging & helpful.Afraid to try?? You will never know until you do!!!

I have been working out at the CrossFit Code Red box for a couple of years. Aside from being a great workout facility it has a fantastic community of people all striving to get in better shape.Originally I was intimidated by the intense workouts (truth be told, I still am occasionally,) but I soon found that I was more than capable of completing all kinds of different workouts. It's never a "one size fits all" program. All WOD's (workout of the day) can be scaled to different skill levels and the coaches are always helping people get the most from their workouts. They are knowledgable and friendly and make even the most grueling workouts fun. They push everyone to go beyond their comfort zones, and eventually you understand why, when you don't feel like you could do another push-up and you take a breath and proceed to do another 50.The people at CFCR are awesome. There's nothing more motivating during an intense workout than to look to your left or right and see another member pushing through. We cheer each other on and celebrate everyone's victories, from someone getting their first strict pull-up, to a first muscle-up, or a personal record on a deadlift. There are always new events being posted. Races, obstacle courses, CrossFit competitions, nutrition challenges, etc. In the end, it's so much more than a workout a few times a week. That's what I enjoy about it so much. I recommend it to people all the time. Half the work is just showing up.

I have been a member of CrossFit Code Red for a couple months now. The biggest selling point for me is the sense of community with the amazing people you work out with, not to mention the awesome coaches. The coaches are there to help you hit your goals and get you to break down the mental blocks that prevent you from going harder and stronger. I have seen huge gains in my strength and cardio, but my biggest gain has really been in my confidence and pushing through different obstacles. I couldn't have done this without the support offered by the CrossFit Code Red gang! The week trial is also a key selling point to CrossFit. Each workout is different, so how do you know if it's a good fit if you only get to try it once? My first and second nights were totally different.

Low-budget fitness training. Friendly people, but the equipment and facilities are not great. The latest workout I attended consisted of running around the parking lot, then doing 9 minutes of plank; something I might just as well have stayed at home for. And at home the run would be more scenic. Not air conditioned. The facility is basically a large storage unit with a bathroom. Reliance on competetiveness to motivate does not suit my personality, and the workouts are geared toward more muscular types with exercises like push-ups, pull-ups and burpees. Some of this is the nature of Cross Fit training, not Code Red itself. It was developed in the military, and it shows.
