I seem to be going through the same problem as everyone else on here. I've been trying to cancel my membership and no one calls back to assist you. No one returns VM's or anything, they should tell you this before you sign up. Will figure out my next step

So nice to be able to transfer my membership over here for the summer. Cheddy was a pleasure to deal with and made the whole process easy. Small-ish gym, but they have everything one would need. Quiet in the AMs too. Just the way I like it.

Left Hawaii two weeks ago now, called multiple times stopped in twice before I left no one there, emailed/ “inquiry” on their website to try to get into contact about canceling but they just keep taking money out of my account.Update June 28 2023I left them a cancel request on April 10th after talking to someone on the phone, sent it and still taking my money can someone please see this and just cancel my membership. I’ve given up 240 dollars i don’t care about getting it back just cancel my membership.

Highly recommend not going here. Almost immediately after leaving the first bad review someone reached out to us. We got our memberships cancelled finally. Well we thought… Turns out the gal typed in my husband’s name wrong when submitting the cancellation request, and canceled someone else’s membership. So they’ve now been charging us for just his membership for months. I was told today we needed to submit proof to cancel his and we probably wont get refunded. Makes no sense.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This anytime fitness has no leadership, is dirty, and has horrible communication.My husband and I were avid lovers of Anytime and have been members at different Anytime gyms throughout multiple states and I have got to say this is the dirtiest anytime I have ever been to. Dust fell from the ceiling on me while doing abs in the ab room. There were never any cleaning supplies available and people are constantly barefoot.We tried cancelling our memberships multiples time and due to the lack of management it took over a month to get ahold of somebody and countless times going into the gym to track someone down. We were then charged twice after we cancelled our memberships.Do yourself a favor and go to UFC.Stay clear of this gym.

I’m not shocked that I’m back AGAIN for a third time to say I was contacted on 2/7/23 by phone from someone named Heidi stating that she was personally taking care of my refund and I should receive it in 3-5 business days (this is the second time since December that I was told this). Of course, no refund has been processed - just like before. I see other people are struggling with this in the reviews & I highly recommend smalls claims court. Seems about to be the only way to get this business to realize how poor its professionalism continues to be. I would give zero stars if I could.To follow up on my review from a month ago - I was finally emailed back on 12/30/22 that my membership was cancelled & I was would receiving a refund. I followed up on 1/19 & 1/29 since the refund has yet to be deposited & of course no communication from AF Kailua. I stated in my review (found below) that I would be willing to delete my poor rating once all of this was corrected but over a month later with no luck & communication (again) my review stands. At this point I have pushed for Small Claims Court as this seems to be a concurrent issue with this establishment. So disappointed in this business."In October I submitted my PCS orders to AF to leave Hawaii & move back to the Carolinas. I was told my contract would be terminated, I would receive a cancellation email & no further charges would come out - except for in October. After two weeks of not receiving an email I tried to reach out. I left two separate voicemails & I also emailed. I noticed a charge from AF posted in November so once again I tried to contact. Upon having no luck like before I contacted the billing inquiry # on the website. I was told they couldn't help me because AF Kailua is privately owned and the only way it could be resolved was to contact them. I have sense gotten multiple recordings of their phone ringing then going to a full voicemail or just going straight to voicemail. I have also reached out through the website and on facebook. At this point I feel like I have no choice but to seek legal action as another charge has been posted to my account. If someone would like to refund the charges & cancel my contract I would be happy to delete this poor review."

I agree to previous review that was left… I have tried to cancel my membership since November and here we are in February and still trying.Ive contacted the gym many times and get left unanswered. I am gonna take this up with action line to try to bring awareness to other people..they are so quick to take money but seems to be avoiding people who needs to cancel their membership. I think I’ve been patient long enough. It’s time to make it known..

My husband and I have been trying to get ahold of these people to cancel for months, after reading reviews it seems like its an ongoing struggle for many people. Phone always goes straight to voicemail, voicemail box is full, and no email responses. Real unfortunate to be paying so much for something you aren’t using.If you do choose to sign up here its a nice gym but sign up through their website, not in person. Otherwise they’ll say you have to pay a $150 sign up fee per person. Which is advertised and set up differently on their websiteUpdate: After leaving a bad review I got a response almost immediately. I was hopeful, but came back to change my review to a 1 star as their lack of communication has shined again

My husband and I signed up when we were stationed in Hawaii. We were told on upon signing up that we would be able to cancel our membership if we were pcsing. We had gone in multiple times and no one was available. We called left voice mails and no one got back to us. We tried to cancel our membership in the current state we live in and were told we had to go to Hawaii to cancel??? Its been over a year and they took 240$ out of our account 12/30/22. Can someone please cancel our membership.
