I was told on the website to show up 30 minutes early for a class. When I arrived, the elderly woman at the front (Jennifer, apparently) told me I needed to be there 45 minutes early and could not be helped that day. I had come with a friend who they also would not let leave without charging because she had signed up for that class. The fact that a gym needs you to be there for two hours just to teach you how to work out and participate in a class is absolutely ridiculous. I have been a constant gym goer for years, which I explained, and teaching someone how to run on a treadmill doesn’t take an extra 45 minutes. The customer service at this location was appalling and the woman was so incredibly rude! I am shocked they allow her to own it, or manage it, whatever it is that she does.

Had never been. Went for the first class. Arrived early (over 15 minutes before the class began) but evidently not enough. They require 30 minutes to have you sign some forms and show you how to use a treadmill and row machine (which I have used) so they refused to let me take the class. The prior class had not even left yet. I have been to several different fitness classes (bootcamp, barre, yoga, etc.) in the past and it never takes 30 minutes to be shown around and sign releases. Needless to say I will never go back. The instructor was dismissive and rude about the situation.

DON’T JOIN THIS GYM IF YOU EVER WANT TO QUIT! I cancelled my membership on September 29th due to an injury that wasn’t getting better. I didn’t get charged anything for the month of October (in reality I should have because it was within the 30 day notice period, but according to the staff the manager didn’t process my paperwork in time-not my fault), but then I DID get charged for November, at which point I called because why would I get charged AFTER my 30 day cancellation period? At first they acted confused and told me that my paperwork was still in the stack to be processed, so I asked for the manager to call me back, which she didn’t but another staff member did and said that they would correct it and refund me. A week goes by and it hasn’t been refunded so I call again and the staff member informs me that since I technically cancelled during a “freeze” (which I initiated a couple months prior, due to the same injury) that the freeze period had to complete before the cancellation took effect and so this would be my final charge. I was not informed about this stipulation on the day I signed the cancellation form in the studio OR when I called the first time, so clearly no one knows what they are talking about. I gave up because I was tired of dealing with it and because technically they should’ve charged me in October (again not my fault they didn’t process the paperwork in time), so I was just giving them the benefit of the doubt and taking the L here. Now it’s December and I just got charged AGAIN! As a fellow business manager, I am expecting a refund for both months now, as I have incurred interest on my credit card for these charges over the past 2 months, not to mention this has been a complete waste of my time that could have been avoided if people simply knew how to do their job. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK AND TAKE MY PAYMENT INFORMATION OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM!
