Since the first day i walked into Donis boxing academy it felt like a second home.He is very patient with with all ages and treats everyone with the same respect.Not to mention his technique is the best in the nation and he will proudly say it with no problem and his fighters can easily back up his statement.He is a great coach and a mentor I look up too.I have been training with him for at least 6-7 months now and I’ve loved every day,and I plan to keep him as my head coach when I turn pro later on in my life.Overall his gym is the best Place to learn the best technique,to get fit,and to get started in the amateurs.

Don't go here if you're serious about competing. Go some where else this place is waste of time depending on your goals.This place is something more for kids or just fitness.I feel like I wasted my time and money coming here.

David Donis is, without a doubt, one of the finest boxing coaches in America. The moment you walk into his academy, you notice that the energy is very positive and everyone seems to be happy. Besides being a Master of everything boxing, Coach Donis is also a master of multitasking. Each student gets the feeling that they are having a private lesson. There are rules of conduct (enforced firmly, but in a friendly manner) and words of wisdom plus motivational lines and photos and pictures posted on the walls. He is also very "tuned in" to any problems that the kids may have, and he often has group or individual discussions about life's problems and appropriate solutions. He is able to adapt his program to all children and adults; he can accommodate everyone from a 4yo with energy that needs an outlet, to kids who want to learn some self defense and stay in shape, to adults who want to get in shape and stay in shape, to people who want to be competitive boxers. He is an excellent role model for the kids, and he has a wealth of skills and knowledge that he wants to share with everyone.
