Everything was clean. People were helpful. BUT...vibes in the place are not great. Canceled our membership.

Since the recent change in management, I am taking my business elsewhere. I show up when the gym is supposed to open, only to wait for an hour or longer to get to workout. It's ridiculous

The place is always super clean. The fact you have so much space and so much lifting equipment makes me happy. I also love there is a place to do power cleans if you want to. Also, Miller, who works the front desk is pretty cool.

It takes a lot for me to leave any type of review, so the fact that I’m leaving a 1 star review should speak volumes. Do not ever sign up with this specific gym unless you want persistent charges while they continue to charge you and refuse to stop or issue refunds. This gym has been my nightmare. I honestly love the Huntsville Youfit. The equipment is great and it’s always clean and the staff are nice. I have been a member for almost two years. However, within the last 2-3 months, the opening times have been horribly inconsistent. At least six times in the last two months, you have not been open at 5am on a weekday. And this is the second Sunday in April you have not been open at 8am. I get that it’s difficult for employees to get in at 5am. But I’ve worked at at gym and opened it at 5am before. You either need to change your hours or give members key cards. Because we can’t keep showing up ready to workout and the gym be closed.

Great equipment. Solid price. Good guest policy. Staff are generally attentive and always kind. Atmosphere is accepting of everyone.

Their corporate policy is you need to provide a bank account for a membership, because people were cancelling their credit cards instead of cancelling their membership. Reading the other 1 start reviews about how hard it is to cancel, this isn't something I would feel comfortable giving a company access to.

Great gym. Been a member for a long time. They aren't pushy about selling anything to you but always willing to offer help if needed. They have great staff on hand for a variety of training if you need a hand getting in a routine or are looking for help on improving your health. Lots of events and activities for all members regardless of your fitness/activity level.

This Gym is a trap. Covid came through they shut the doors but continued charging. No child care nothing but a shopping complex building with workout machines. Canceled my membership well past 1 year contract and still charged a cancellation fee and then charged another month after that. When I ask management why I’m being charged when I hadn’t used the membership in a year they said it’s policy you canceled in the middle of last month???? Really like REALLY!? Trap tactics and surprise fees. Just go spend a little more and go to the YMCA better facilities better business practices.
