Best gym in Indy. Great staff, awesome equipment, but the best part is great community of athletes. If you are serious about lifting, ICB is the place to be.

This is a great gym that fosters a great lifting community. Everyone is friendly and sociable. What sets this gym apart from other gyms downtown is its compound lifting equipment. If you like to deadlift, squat, or bench heavy this is the gym for you. They also have a great selection of weight machines.Sadly I have to discontinue my membership here due to a personal injury but I hope to be back soon! 💪

Good gym to train at if you're tired of the commercial gyms. I switched to ICB sometime last year and have really liked it. At previous gyms I was harassed by other gym goers which is the real reason I made the switch. Everyone at ICB is very focused on their own fitness, and I feel comfortable training there. There are quite a few personal trainers & athletes that workout there, and I've learned a lot since joining. I would recommend this gym if you're looking for a change!

Indy City Barbell is the kind of place that will give the result you are looking for. There, you will find an "old school" ambiance where everybody train hard and respect each other. Indy City Barbell is the antithesis of PF or LA F.

Came in for a drop-in, while visiting town. It's got an old school vibe, and tons of unique equipment. If things like Pit Shark belt squat, (Westside Barbell) Reverse Hyper, Texas barbells (deadlift and squat) EliteFTS power rack, etc, are your jam...then this is the place you've probably been looking for. They also have all of your standard machine weights, and carpeted area with a few bikes and an aerodyne for cardio/plyo/etc. Thanks for letting me come by for a workout!

Awesome Gym with an Amazing Culture. Anyone interested in getting in phenomenal shape, learn new exercises and reach new levels of performance and fitness in a supportive growth focused environment should join Indy City Barbell. The owner Steve is a athlete, world class powerlifter and a coach of the highest pedigree. Definitely a great resource when it comes to creating a plan to reach your fitness goals.I recently hired Stephanie Flesher as a coach to help guide me in my journey to my first classic physique competition. I have worked with other bodybuilding local bodybuilding coaches in the past but none can compare to the time and attention to detail Stephanie gives. She takes the time to check in with me as needed. She is constantly learning how my body responds to each macro nutrient and making adjustments accordingly to improve the plan. Her training sessions are awesome! she does a great job of finding my weaknesses and turning them into strengths. she is patient when I am learning new movements and provides great support. she is a coach that genuinely cares about your success as an athlete and your overall wellness. a rare find.Indy City Barbell holds true to Barbell culture with top notch equipment including Atlas stones, tires, yokes, logs, belted squat, sleds and turf and much more. In regards to functional fitness equipment that help improve mobility and performance Indy City Barbell is the best equipped gym in indianapolis.

If you are an avid weightlifter of any kind and live around Indianapolis, there is not another gym on the level of Indy City. It's got an old school feel with an awesome setup and awesome equipment. The gym is a community as well, something that starts with Steve (the owner), who although looks like the real life Hulk, is one of the nicest guys I've met and thoroughly cares about his gym and its members. I was at a typical fitness franchise working out thinking I had no other choice near me, after becoming a member at Indy City I'll never go anywhere else.

Visiting Indy for the week and stopped in to visit this gym. It's awesome, the atmosphere is perfect for anyone who wants to take training seriously. I spoke to Garret, one of the owners. Super helpful and encouraging guy. If I ever come back to this city. This location will be on my list.
