Our kids have been coming to CVBJJ for over 7 years. This family friendly gym is operated by an amazing family! Their own wmWrestling & Jiu-jitsu successes shine through their training, instruction and care for each student.The coaches are incredible with kids & pay attention to detail. Our kids have gained invaluable life experience in Jiu-jitsu. Their consistency in training has helped shaped them to become more disciplined and hard working, which carries over to other areas of their lives. I was visiting the Valley and wanted to get in some training. I called to see if I could drop in. Everyone was friendly and extremely welcoming. The instruction and drilling were top notch! I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in the area.

I had the chance to be down in Palm Desert for a month and decided to try Coachella Valley BJJ out. While I live and train in Portland, I had a background in wrestling and was really interested in seeing what Tony and the rest of the program was all about. I can't say enough about what a great atmosphere and the caliber of the training here. I felt welcomed immediately and learned so much in a short amount of time. If you're looking for a clean, professional, competitive and world class gym... look no further. I only wish I lived down there full time. I can't wait for the chance to come back. This is the best gym I’ve ever been to on the road. I did 2 lunch classes, and there were about 10 black belts at each class in addition to all other levels and ages. It felt as close to Valko bjj , my home gym in Chicago, as any other gym I’ve been to. The owner head instructor has a deep wealth of grappling knowledge with a ranked d1 college wrestling son as well. And despite having 4 kids , he wouldn’t take my $20. Roy Dean was in the class too, and I got to meet and roll with him too. I’ve been training a long time (15 yrs , brown belt) and have done bjj all over the world , this is the best place I’ve ever been to on the road.

Excellent and welcoming environment for those interested in becoming competitive fighters, or for those who want to get a great workout and improve self defense. Dan and Anthony are Amazing instructors, with a wealth of knowledge, great communication and teaching skills. I have been here for 4 years now and excited to continue my journey in jujisu !

I love the environment. They make me feel welcome, even though I just going for extra training. The instructors are always making sure you are doing the drills properly. Also, there are so many students to roll and willing to give you advice. The class is very complete. For example, we start with bjj warm ups, then we move to walk around drills, then the instructors teach us 2 to 4 different moves, and finally we roll 30 minutes before the end of the class. This is my favorite place to be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
