Spending the winter in the desert, I was looking for a facility that would meet my fitness needs. I emailed Cheryl before I arrived to see if Desert Fitness Collective would be a good fit for me. She invited me to check the class out. They offered a Masters Class that met my needs. Classes are challenging and have a lot of variety. The classes are small so the coaches can pay close attention to proper technique to help you get the most from your workout without injury. I would recommend Desert Fitness Collective to anyone who wants to get the most out of your time in the gym. No guessing what you're going to do, it's all planned for you.I will be back next fall and look forward to seeing Cheryl and her coaches.Thanks for a great winter.Kathy McDowell

If you're a Senior and wish to accomplish your fitness goals...this is the place. Cheryl Cohen, the Owner is focused on ensuring that we age gracefully and in the best health. The program is designed for seniors and of course, Cheryl allows you to work from "where you are" and then will encourage you to move beyond your comfort zone. Is it challenging...yes! However, to be in a class of all seniors is absolutely fantastic. I encourage you to join Desert Fitness Collective. You will not be disappointed!!

I am thrilled to have found Coach Cheryl’s “Desert Senior Fitness” program. She has developed a program that builds a drive to become healthy and fit post COVID. Coach Cheryl tailors a program to each client, while keeping all our “aches and pains” in mind. Coach Cheryl is sincere in her desire and concern to help people become their best self and has created a tight knit community that is so encouraging.

Cheryl and the team really made me feel welcomed and a part of the team. Everyone that attends CrossFit at Desert Fitness is dedicated and hardworking. I really enjoyed my time there and met some amazing people. I reached my goal of learning how to be more consistent with my fitness and all the trainers were there to help me along the way.

Think Cross Fit is only for the young? No way! I'm 70 and I just completed 6 weeks with other seniors ages 50-80. Head Coach Cheryl Cohen is fantastic. Her years of experience and understanding of the aging body is key to keeping seniors active and strong. So, don't be afraid to sign up for this fun and amazing training!

My prior experiences with fitness programs led to my being injured. I was given a rudimentary explanation of the equipment, and then turned loose do use it on my own. Needless to say, I experienced many physical issues because no one was monitoring how I was using the equipment and exercising.At the Desert Fitness Collective, the opposite is true. Cheryl, my coach, makes sure that each exercise is tailored to my particular needs. She also monitors how I use the various pieces of equipment to make sure I am getting the most benefit from my exercise. I would highly recommend Cheryl and the Desert Fitness Collective to anyone looking to improve their body, and spirit, while achieving their fitness goals. Desert Fitness is a great place for all types of fitness enthusiasts! I am very impressed with the quality of instruction and the knowledge of the fitness coaches - Cheryl Cohen knows her stuff and works constantly to make sure the attendees are getting the most from her classes. And there are all types of age groups doing impressive workouts - age does not matter, they will work with you to bring you to a level you can perform and be proud of. They have a variety of class times and different instructors teaching different levels. Ronnie is currently the coach for the senior group and he is a amazing!I am very happy I joined Desert Fitness and recommend it to anyone who is thinking about getting fit or for those who want to improve their level of fitness - great place to workout, friendly people and a lots of equipment to keep you from getting bored with your daily workout! Definitely a 5 star rating!!!

Cheryl has been a great inspiration. I started her program at 247lbs and finished at 225 in 6 weeks. Now down under 220. It’s a tough workout but anyone can do it. Highly recommend to give it a shot!

Desert CrossFit is a great place to get your fitness goals back on track! The environment is perfect for those who enjoy a more intimate setting with coaches and other crossfitters looking to get in shape and have some fun! After my 6 week challenge, I chose to sign up for the year because I love it that much.
