I am writing to express my disappointment with Blink Fitness. I have been a member for one year and have been consistently disappointed with the state of the equipment, the cleanliness of the gym, and the lack of maintenance. When I first signed up, I was excited about the variety of equipment and the low price. However, I quickly realized that many of the machines were not working properly. I have reported these issues to the staff on several occasions, but they have not been fixed. The gym is also not very clean. The floors are often dirty, and the equipment is not wiped down after use. This is a health hazard, and it is not conducive to a productive workout. In addition, the staff is not very friendly or helpful. They are often rude and unhelpful, and they do not seem to care about the members.I am very disappointed with Blink Fitness. I would not recommend this gym to anyone. Here are some specific examples of the problems I have experienced:* The treadmills are often out of order.* The weights are not properly racked.* The floors are dirty and sticky.* The bathrooms are not clean.* The staff is rude and unhelpful.I have tried to resolve these issues by contacting the staff, but they have not been responsive. I am now considering cancelling my membership.I would like to see Blink Fitness make some changes to improve the quality of its service. Here are some suggestions:* Fix the broken equipment.* Clean the gym more often.* Train the staff to be more friendly and helpful. If Blink Fitness makes these changes, I would be more likely to renew my membership. However, as it stands, I am very disappointed with the gym and would not recommend it to others.

Nothing fancy but it has what’s needed in a gym! Also the fact that it’s the only gym in journal square area, makes it very crowded.Machines are usually occupied between 6-8 PM on weekdays! However if you go during the day it’s better. One thing I really like is the staff! Everyone is super friendly and always welcomes you with a smile. I don’t mind the crowd as far as everyone is nice and cordial. They have some events going on like teachers week and students week etc which are pretty cool. There’s a locker room, showers which are fine!

I went here for about a year because price was good. Place was overcrowded and smelled bad all the time, machines would be broken a lot. That’s pretty normal for cheap gyms though. The reason for the bad review is that when I cancelled, they accidentally double charged me the cancellation fee. I called twice on diff days and was told manager was out at lunch, manager is not there, but we will take your info and make sure she reverses the charge today. Didn’t happen and I had to go and stop payment thru my credit card. Pretty annoying.

Nice, clean gym with plenty of fitness apparatus options, including free and fixed terminal weights, aerobic equipment, and trainers for patrons needing guidance.

I have been to a lot of Bink gyms and this is the absolute worst. There are only 2 squat racks, which is annoying but manageable. But the gym was a MESS, weights, and dumbells were just all over the place, the rack was literally empty, and you had to walk the whole gym to just find the ones you needed. There were those little sanitary wipes all over the floor, and the place had a weird odor too. Will not be coming back here ever again

I hate this gym. I hate this gym. There's always too many people. There are never carabineers for the pulley machines upstairs. I hate this gym.

Place is a lot dirtier than other blinks, the equipment is dangerously broken, weights are missing, the layout needs major improvement, and the gym lacks basic machines.

Great location. Sometimes it gets packed but the app is pretty accurate when letting you know how crowded the gym is. Today was heaven, I got to use all the machines and weights that I wanted to use.

I have been in many different gyms.... this gym without a doubt is the worst I have ever experienced.1) Absolute filthy everywhere, bathrooms, equipment, etc. I have never even seen an employee cleaning. And if it is done at closing time, its not enough. Needs to be cleaned more often... Other professional run gyms have their employees clean the equipment, obviously because alot of people dont clean it after they use it. Pretty standard stuff that should be done, dont even get me going on the bathrooms and how often they should be checked, this is basic stuff. Where is the managment? Which should check on all areas to check if they are clean after enforcing a cleaning schedule.2) Hygienic policies are not enforced. People on the top floor taking their shirts off and strutting in the mirror. Doesn't matter if they "look good" or not, its not allowed. Huge lack of respect for others when people do that for the people around them trying to do their best. **There are no signs that say "do not take your shirt off" etc. Which every gym normally have. There are mirrors in the locker room for that. Or your own home.3) Safety hazards. "Rack lifting" policies are not enforced. People are always standing infront of the dumbbell rack, do a set, then set the weight down and continueto stand in everyones way. They are in the way of the people who are actually strong enough to carry their weight to their workout place. It is a huge safety issue and all other gyms usually have a sign, " No Rack Lifting, step away from the weight rack after grabbing your weights" etc. There is no sign.4) Capacity. Way too many people compared to equipment, it is absolutely packed at peak time and nothing is available on the top floor, let alone the other floor usually too. Clearly it should be expanded. No matter how packed the gym is, it always says 50% full. Which is bull, I have see the gym where literally mostly all equipment has people at it and still says 50 percent. **Capacity per square foot of a building space is not the same as Capacity to equipment availability.**5) Customer service. I have never had a bad experience talking to an employee. They all are very polite, well spoken, attentive, and have great customer service skills. They are always quick to be helpful if you need help with anything, question, concerns, complaints, they are great. Other than that, throw some signs up for the disrespectful people or people who are unawares of gym edict and have management make a clean/check list/schedule. And maybe it'll start to be a decent gym. I doubt it will ever expand so Capacity will always be an issue durring peak time.I am contemplating using a different Blink or switching to .... hmmmm ANY OTHER GYM. Going to this gym after so many in my life is like walking onto a gross, dirty, disrespectful, human sardine can, cram packed with people, Twilight Zone gym vibe, literally the opposite of what a gym should be. I see this gym has many bad reviews too. I love the workout, hate the gym, cringe. Rant over.
