This gym is amazing! It has great amenities, is very clean, and the staff is super nice and attentive. Chris, one of many trainers here, that knows how to train people to the best of their abilities and works with them to achieve their goals as quickly & efficiently as possible!

It's so nice and big. Staff seems to be lazy about switching out cleaning rags. But other than that it's beautiful. There's a hot and dry sauna. Too many machines to know what to do with. And a second floor for extra privacy. There's classes and massage chairs. A pool and hot tub. So worth.

My personal trainer, Chris Mamparo treated my 6 months of training with exceptional attention and knowledge to the key points I was focusing on in a lifestyle to a healthy body. My parents signed up at this gym at the beginning of the year but they never used their memebership so my mom went in to cancel both their memberships in August. The girl helping her told her she would cancel both, but would still have to pay September fees. She agreed. Fast forward to November and she realizes she is still being charged for VASA.She went back in to ask why and Jorge told her it was because her husband didn't go with her, they didn't cancel his. They did not tell her that the first time she went to cancel, otherwise he would've gone with her! That was never stated so she was under the impression that both had been cancelled.Jorge talked to his manager and he said the manager would let my mom cancel my dad's membership now, even though he was not there- but that he would still be charged for another month.This is ridiculous and they were taken advantage of. They spent HUNDREDS of dollars at VASA even after "cancelling" the first time and they still had to pay for another month to have it canclled. They were lied to for a few extra hundred dollars. Ethics 0/10.Update: They have charged their card THREE more times since this review, for a total of $172.49. We will make sure no one we know ever goes to this gym. Complete scammers taking advantage of their customers.

I'm reaching out to express my concerns regarding your Joliet location. I have been a member at this location since opening day. The equipment offered and available space at this location is great, and what drew me to keep my membership. However, as time has gone by, I've increasingly noticed how unkept and unsanitary the men's bathroom/locker room has become over the last 6 months.Upon entering the men's area, the odor is very harsh. I've been a member of other gyms that maintained a functioning filtration system, and/or installed auto air freshners; which based on the extreme odor makes me believe that is not the case at your location.Below is a list of other concerns that raise a red flag for sanitation that I have observed and wanted to bring to your attention:• Floors are peeling. Floors covered with dirt.• Mildew is constantly growing around the long floor drains. Does not look like any floor scrubber has been used.• Walls not wiped down or cleaned. Changing room is messy.• Stalls are not adequately cleaned, if at all. Toilet paper on all the floors, no toilets flushed, seats dirty.• Sinks do not properly work. For instance, I recall 3 of the 4 sinks at one point did not work.• Several faucets are not producing hot water• Mold and mildew growing around the upper lip of all the sinks• Countertops are constantly soaked with water or messy with dirt/mucus/hairsI am usually at the gym 2-3 hours a day, 6-7 times a week, and have yet to see any staff member actively cleaning and sanitizing the restroom/locker room area. This is a major concern not only for sanitary purposes but also for those members who may be more prone to infections.Respectfully,Concerned gym-goer

I’ve been a member for about a year now, and I’m really happy with VASAFitness. It’s a very spacious facility, and the staff is very welcoming and friendly, Chris and Lauren are a couple of my favorite people there. The environment is inspiring for anyone on their fitness journey. Great place!

You should cut out guest passes during peak times or make it once a monthOrder another glute driver machine, pleaseEnforce wiping down equipmentLadies and gentlemen are all flocking to weight machines and it’s gives me anxiety to rush there only to note that there are no weight areas available!! Order more weight machinesOther than that, staff is nice, gym and bathroom is mostly clean.

Huge facility with a multitude of options for working out. The staff is incredibly friendly, supportive, and always welcoming.I'm only just beginning my fitness journey and rehab, but feel pretty confident that this is the facility for me. I have not yet had the opportunity to try all the wonderful options VASA offers, but am looking forward to it.
