I’ve been to many different gyms and tried many different sets of equipment but Vasa fitness is by far the best when it comes to not only equipment but also environment. Everyone is so friendly, and most importantly the personal trainers especially Chris Mamparo without him my fitness journey wouldn’t have even been possible. He helped me go from 200 down to 150lbs of lean muscle. Big Thank you to Chris

Please do not sign up for any personal training and at this facility. They don’t send you a contract to read intentionally, so that you as a consumer are not informed on your right to rescind. They just go into your bank account and take money, even if you have not been to their facility and utilized services. They won’t refund you and make no effort to provide a solution to any issue. I went through personal training options with a rep and he told me it was month to month. He told me to sign my initials on an iPad. And less than 7 days later, they are withdrawing $200 out of your account. With no recourse. I am going to have to get my attorney to start the administrative process, because this company blatantly violated my consumer rights.

Well after coming to Vasa for over a year now I've noticed there's still no added equipment. There's so many things that need to be addressed and has be mentioned several times to staff and even the guy that would visit from the corporate office. For example the open space by the squat racks. Why isn't there a rack of dumbbells, rack of fixed straight bar, curl bar weights and some benches there? By adding these thing a person doesn't have to take dumbbells and a bench across the gym to do lunges or RDL. Also by adding a hack squat machine and two more legs press machines in that area would do wonders for the gym. Now getting to the pin load machines. Why is there only one shoulder machine, one ab machine, one seated leg press, one preacher curl machine, one seated lat machine and one lat pulldown machine.? With the size and so much empty space that's not being used there should be atleast 2 of all the machines I've named. Last the machines specially some of the hammer strength machines are not in order like all shoulder machines, back and chest. You have two back machines on one side and two on the other side. Like any other gym the machines should be in order by body parts. I've been in gyms since 1986 such as powerhouse, golds, worlds gym, Reszel gym , Charlie club, la fitness planet fitness bailey's just to name a few. and have seen many different things. You have the people coming but many are so flustrated having to wait for equipment. You have to also remember within a 4 mile radius there's also two planet fitness , CFX, Chicago sport and fitness, body tech, house of valor and Emc. I'm starting to run into many people who started here at Vasa leaving because of the long wait times and limited equipment. Only time will tell how long they stay. The energy is good but I thnx God I have other gyms I can attend. So that being said I went from 5 stars to 3.

This place has all levels of fitness covered, BUT....there no scales to even weigh yourself and keep track of your gains/losses. Apparently there is but ONE SCALE and is only reserved for thee elite members. Every other gym I've been in has a scale in the locker room. So hence the 4 star instead of 5

This facility has everything you need in regards to your fitness journey. Clean facility. Plenty of parking space. Friendly staff. So much equipment and every equipment is pretty new. It does get pretty crowded during peak hours.

Vasa is a great gym. But I came to vasa one night to get a quick workout in (came 30 minutes before close) and the doors were locked. I just have a question on why the doors are locked before close? I work 12 hour shifts and just wanted my quick shoulder workout.

They can never help! The worst possible customer service exists here.. they can "never" help or need "corporate" to do anything. I am BEYOND disappointed with this gym.. I have had a couple issues with my referral link and they cant do anything.. I am unsure why they have a manager and an assistant manager if their position is useless... take your business to a facility that is able to help you with your concerns.. not worth the headaches.

Have nothing bad to say about this place. I utilize the gym most often, but they also have a pool for swimming laps, plenty of free and machine weights, multiple workout studios, hydro massage beds, a double level bike and treadmill section, separate sections for cardio work that has training turf, sauna and steam rooms, and a light therapy chamber. If that wasn't enough, you can bring the kids with you, as they have a child care section for the parents that still want to get some work in.

Great experiences. Motivated to participate in any session schedule in relevant to my time. Instructors are approachable, friendly, have enjoyable dance steps and actions and their patiently teach their members well. A wide area for all kinds of work outs and various materials to used and its free. Great intructors, nice management an organized one and approachable and friendly workers...Congratz
