I love the Cleaver Y. I know there are others that are newer and bigger, but there is something special here. There's a community vibe that I haven't felt in any other facility, YMCA, or otherwise.

All of the Kansas City YMCA’s are great, but this one is extra special. The staff are kind, friendly and welcoming. There are a variety of child and family activities. They deeply care for and invest in our local neighborhood.

Horrible experience young life guard with dreadlocks treated me and my family like we were in prison. To the point to where she stood over us in the pool. It made us uncomfortable and we left. Please do better and hire better staff.

Nice, up-to-date, clean facility with friendly staff. They could use a few more free evening classes for members. Also, it seems their swimming programming has outgrown their pool. Still, a great asset for the community.

My family belonged to this location almost fifteen years ago. I am very impressed by the updated building, equipment, and other resources. I have visited at least 10 times within the past two weeks, early in the morning and late evening. Each time I have been extended a warm greeting accompanied by a smile!The locker/shower/restrooms have been clean with a pleasant smell, every single time. I have been able to utilize the treadmills, stationary bikes, and weights without waiting each time I've visited. The entire facility is well lit, clean, capacious, and the mood is jovial.Children and adults are able to enjoy this interactive facility in harmony! Today the staff rearranged and added new equipment to the main area!

Visited twice now. This location is well maintained and laid out very nicely. The workout area is up to date and has exactly what you need. The locker was clean and large, with plenty of room.
