I’m not a big climber but I’ve been to my fair share of gyms and this was by far the best I’ve been to. The routes were very fun and there was a large variety of beginner to expert climbs available. Very clean place, great atmosphere, great location, and great staff. Awesome yoga studio and fitness room too!

Sequence is amazing! Great variety of problems for all climbing levels. The staff members are welcoming and ready with answers for all concerns and questions. The bathroom is clean and there is a separate changing area. Wonderful space for novice and advanced climbers.

No idea what to rave the most about in this review because the business as a whole is AMAZING. The owners are oft present and the kindest individuals who always want to make sure things are going well/to help you if you’re struggling up a particular wall. The walls themselves are prime, with different sections being changed every week for fun new puzzles. This is all before I even mention to weight room and yoga included almost every day of the week in a separate section of the building. A truly amazing location that is worth visiting and getting a membership at.

Great bouldering gym!!!!! Big, lots of problems to work, and with varying difficulty! I think this is the largest bouldering gym in KC. Really like the vibe of the place. Just an all around great rock climbing gym. Friendly staff and friendly climbers. Great community.

Went to Sequence Climb today and really liked it. If it’s your first time, maybe ask the employees about hand care. Andrew at the front desk was incredibly helpful. Can’t wait to go back again!

I love this gym. As a climber from Boulder that travels to KC and the Crossroads neighborhood for work quite often, I was psyched when Sequence opened. Great route setting, fun atmosphere, awesome staff.

I met the owner and another staff member and they were both super friendly and helpful. This gym has a ton of space both on and off the wall, so even when it's busy I imagine it doesn't feel too crowded. There was a variety of bouldering problems across pretty much every grade, and I found that the grading system encouraged me to try problems that I might not have otherwise. They have walls at every angle as well. The holds all had really good texture and there was a nice variety of shapes and sizes. I'm a novice climber, so I found the south wall especially nice because they only set grades V4 and below on it.The only discomfort I felt was that the walls felt a bit taller than I'm used to and the floor is particularly firm, so I felt pretty unsure about falling from the top, and there are no topouts. (EDIT 7/23/19: I've been learned that firm floors help provide more stability for the feet and ankles when landing, which can help prevent rolled or broken ankles. This makes sense to me, so this is less of a problem in retrospect.) They put up a lot of downclimb holds which is helpful, but sometimes they felt awkwardly spaced. Some of the problems above the cave looked notably hard to downclimb. The changing rooms separate from the restrooms are quite helpful because I typically climb after work, but I don't like changing into climbing clothes in the restroom. The restrooms were clean and spatious though, so it wouldn't be a big deal in any case. The workout room is fairly large and has various equipment in it. I feel confident that I could get a comprehensive workout here.I was able to attend a course on preventing injury that was quite informative, and the instructor was very friendly and willing to answer questions beyond what was covered in the course. I was also told these courses are free for members of the gym, which is excellent.Unfortunately I won't be able to go often enough for a full membership, but I will definitely purchase the punch pass and I plan to keep an eye out for more courses. I'm really glad I decided to check it out!

Went to Sequence Climb last weekend for a friend's bachelor party. Our whole group had a great time. It's a really nice space. The gym is very clean, bright, and well put together. The bouldering is fantastic! There are a lot of different options for all different skill levels. The owner Graham made us feel very welcome. Once we were all checked in he was eager to give us a tour. He gave our group samples of the Nitro cold brew coffee (delicious) and shared with us some of his personal favorite boulder problems in the gym. We left very pleased and I would definitely recommend this spot! Thanks Graham!

This is one of the most clean-cut, modernized and comfortable gyms I’ve visited (and I’ve been to hundreds and been an owner of two). It’s all bouldering, which may deter some who like ropes and autos, but the setting is well-varied from first-class-fun to stout-hard, something for everyone. There’s a Tension board for those who want to train and nice free-weight workout area. There’s also a nice yoga studio. I took a class with Amanda as the instructor and she was a great guide - I highly recommend.Overall the layout, design and feel of this facility is spot-on. Worth a visit if you’re in the KC area. If I lived in the area I’d have a membership here.

Well appointed bouldering gym with great people. Happy to be a member there. After being a member for more than a month I am still very excited about climbing and progressing. The routes range from pretty easy to how is that even possible?! The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and work hard to make your experience great. The classes they order are excellent especially the bouldering and yoga classes.
