CLUB4 Fitness Harvey

Cool gym with a lot of equipment but too many people taking pictures and videos while working out. It’s very annoying because they be getting in my way and I have to wait for God knows how long before they done with their photo shoot/video shoot before using equipment. Been going to the gym for a little over 10 years and never seen this madness. I just want to work out in peace for real, it’s my therapy. So much for a commercial gym.

When this gym first opened I really enjoyed coming here. However it’s so busy I rarely get a full workout in - the free weights and benches are always taken and basically have to stand in line to use a weight machine. No one cleans after they use machines and they advertised that they make rounds to wipe machines but I’ve never seen an employee cleaning.I tried using one of the perks that came with my upgraded membership and made an appointment for a free consultation with the trainer. I left work early to make the appointment and when I arrived I was informed the trainer just wasn’t coming in today. The only appointments they have from here on out are 1:30pm and earlier. So basically you have to take time off from work to even have a consultation with a trainer.The staff are nice but I know they have a very high turn over rate. I’ve never seen the same desk person twice. I’ve never had a problem but it made me think twice about leaving my 9mo old when a staff member was let go for striking a child.I’m ready to give up my membership.

This gym is a scam. They advertise that you can cancel your membership any time with no repercussions, but when you cancel your membership......they sue you. I literally got a letter in the mail from an attorney. Now , my credit has been negatively effected and I owe 300$ all because I moved out of state and decided to cancel my membership.I've dealt with many gyms and there is no reason to go to this gym. The employees never clean the equipment and the smell when you walk into this place is horrible. And the icing on the cake is they scam poor people out of their last few dollars. Go to planet fitness or any other gym. This gym is a scam and a joke. They don't care if you have a family to provide for they will take your last dollars if you decide you dont want to go to their gym anymore.

The place is big and has all of the latest hammer strength equipment. The only thing that’s challenging is that it is crowded most of the time.

I attend this gym and I must admit their equipment is better than any other gym I have been to. I love the sauna and I love the cleanest of the place. I recommend it to anyone

Not a good place..overall

This is my first gym I ever went to. It is very packed and always busy. On a busy day all the machines you might use are probably taken. The equipment is high quality though. Don’t recommend the 25 and 35 dollar membership as it comes with useless perks you will never use. If you do pick a higher membership because you were pressured by the employee to, there is always an option to downgrade in which you have to pay the down payment again for the one you want to switch to. There is an annual 50 dollar maintenance fee. And downpayment varies for each membership level going from 1-69 dollars. The higher options having 1 dollar downpayment as an incentive to take them.
