Best power lifting gym ever! Love the cleanliness, love the super friendly and informative staff, love the people who come here who are in their own zone and are serious abt their fitness. It feels like the gold old 90s here but with new equipment. They take SUCH good care of their gym. This is a premium gym experience with all the wonderful things they’re adding on as well (equipment and more healthy food accommodations soon). If you’re serious about lifting this is the place guys🤙🏽

Aug.08, 2023This gym caught our attention while driving by. Due to its close proximity to where we live, we decided to stop by and check it out. Upon arrival and our attempt to enter, the door was locked and only can enter if you have a key fob of some sort or if they open the door from the inside. Within a moment, the door opened and my husband, 5 y/o child, and myself entered the building. Stepping into the lobby area, we were greeted by a women that did not appear to work there. The woman had no official business shirt or outfit on. Her hair was uncombed and disorganized. Her shirt was homely, stretched out, and overall unprofessional. Let’s call the greeter Lady #1. Lady #2 stayed behind the counter doing something else. Lady #1 approached us and we started asking questions regarding the gym. I then asked how long they’ve been in business and it looked and sounded like she kind of choked a little bit and it took her a second to respond. She then said, “Oh we opened in December so we’ve been here a while.” She then proceeded to explain their membership and annual fees and how it works. I then asked if I can have the informational price sheet she was holding and she said, “No, but you can take a picture of it”. Then lady #2 also stated, “No, but she can go online.” I’m like ok. Cool!! My husband asked lady #1 about the $50 annual fee and she claimed that EVERY gym asks for annual fees. I told her this isn’t true because we just had a membership to YMCA in Harker Heights and they don’t have annual fees. She insisted I was incorrect. My husband then asked if we can have a tour of the facility she said yeah but we can’t have kids on the floor which is understandable. We agreed for me to conduct the walkthrough while my husband and son stayed in the lobby area. Lady #1 and I started the tour, everything seemed new and in perfect condition. The lighting seemed a little too dark or on the deemer side for my liking which can easily be overlooked. As we’re approaching the lobby, it seemed like the tour was coming to an end. Lady #2 then asked lady #1, “Do you want to show her the lockers?” Lady #1 thought it was a good idea and ended up showing me the sauna in route towards the lockers. The sauna was occupied and I thought it was unnecessary for her to open the sauna door which disturbed the temperature for the occupant. Especially when I can see perfectly fine through the glass door. I felt the need to apologize to the girl that were in there. As mentioned, during the tour, my husband and son stayed in the lobby. My husband asked if our child can sit down on a stool. Lady #2 stated that the only two seat in the lobby are only for trainers and consultants. My husband looked around and noticed there wasn’t any trainers and consultants around nor was anyone actively interested in occupying the seats. My husband say, “Can my son sit down for a moment and he will get up if trainer or consultant arrives?” Lady #2 not only insisted NO but also stated that no kids were allowed in the building, not even the lobby area. He asked why did you ever let us in and told her that they will leave and wait in the car instead. Lady #2 made it seem like she is doing us a favor but complained about the favor we never asked for. The tour was over by the time my husband alerted me of him and our son leaving the building. Due to their poor customer service, unfriendly attitude , and unprofessionalism we are now proud members of trufit.

If you are military, do no sign up for this place! There are other affordable options in the Killeen/Temple area. This gym does not work with you during PCS/deployment movements, and they will still charge your card. No matter if they tell you: “if you’re military and PCSing you will not owe anything”. That’s a lie. Make sure you read the fine print over their expensive membership fees. They will charge your card. And a membership that cost $50 is wayyy expensive esp for services that’s provided compared to other gyms. Save your money!
